i had never heard of scott pilgram prior til the movie.
i saw the trailer once when i saw get him to the Greek and thought it was stupid. this weekend a lot of friends in the local gamer community said it was good. i still didn’t believe them so i just decided to see for myself and it turned out surprisingly good. it was…different from most movies i watch.

Good shit but I was really hoping to hear “THIS BATTLE IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE” from CvS2 since one of the “chapters” was titled something similar. The KO and “reversal” made up for it though.
I just saw this movie, it rocked. There’s no other movie like it. Ramona’s so hot.
Not like its hard to farm cash in this game, but there is a way to get lots of money really fast.
Play through the first level accumulating $70 or whatever you get in the level, then exit to title from the map screen. Start a new game with 2 players, the character with $70 as the 2nd player (signed in as “Guest”). Go into a shop and loan the first player all of your money. Exit to map, exit to title, rinse, wash repeat. Basically, when you are on a guest account, it doesn’t save your money progress. This is an easy way to pay off those late fees and max everyone’s stats, but I’ve since reset the character data because it makes the game less than challenging.
i really loved the movie alot, just read the first comic book, gonna go get the trade later. the game is awesome aswell

Playing the game with 4 players, 2 of my buddies bought a Bionic Arm from his shop… didn’t realize how powerful it would truly be. Last Boss was a joke to us.

It works even better if you put in the code that allows you to use the same character. Then both players pick whoever has money and you “double up” every time you do this.

I saw the movie last night. It did drag on for a little bit near the end but overall I thought the movie was pretty enjoyable. Guess I have to check out the book to see whats different.

I think if they made it 4-5 evil exs instead of 7 the movie wouldn’t of dragged. Also the scene where he walks out after fighting himself was hilarious.
The movie got rid of the 1.5 book long emo phase which is the best thing they could’ve done.
