Her HP is a liability is any match. But matchups don’t come in to play if you know what to do and how to do it properly. Look at Dashio or Uryo. Dudes beat Hondas all day and make it look like 7-3 Viper.
It doesn’t seem like America gets to that point though. They still rely on counter picking to cover up for bad matchups.

What you guys need to realize is that counterpicking is an OPTION, like a dragon punch. When used right, a dragon punch can shut someone down all by itself. When someone misuses their DP doing random ass wake up DPs and “ume-shoryus” that aren’t really ume, they will probably just get owned.
If you can play the counter-matches well enough (I’m talking tourney level play here) why would you ignore that option? Counterpicking is a part of American tournament play. If you’re going to ignore it as a person who plays multiple characters you might as well plug up your roundhouse button or some shit
Just cause you never heard of the team doesn’t mean that no one has heard of them.

There will be no vids. It’s disappointing I know, and it might seem sort of old fashioned now that everyone else either streams live or lets YouTube have their way with any footage… but SBO chooses to still do the DVD thing, and that’s their right.
For anyone who does have vids, please do not post them for your sake and theirs. DVD sales are generally how they manage to recoup some of the cost of putting on the event. Additionally, you will be banned from here and from YouTube (and probably from Nico too) for posting unauthorized footage of their event.
they train harder and better than 99 percent of players in the states. a lot of these big boys here will play til midnight, then catch the last train to a new spot until the trains start running in the morning. add in more competition and its pretty difficult to catch up. my money is them being even further ahead of us next year. they are just running the race faster than us so each year we get further behind. nice effort by the american teams but i dont have high expectations for them next year or any following years
