i entered the mystery tourney lsat year, it was relaly fun
but i had to leave to pick someone at the airport
turned out it was the wrong airport
as for nickel city beating everything in the area… there isn’t anything else in the area, namco put the final nail in the coffin when it got rid of the cyberstation at the HIP, which was still open during evo north
I’m up in the air on going. Odds are it won’t be a money issue but more of a “can i get my friends to go” issue.
If I do end up going I’ll 100% join the mystery tournament 
Syxx: Gameworks, Dennis’ Place, Diversions, Gala North, Enchanted Castle, and Gala West are still around AFAIK.
Not sure about TIme Out at North Pier (man am I old), or the Cyberstation…
But yeah, there are still a pile of arcades that I know of in the Chicagoland area.

We’ll see. If there’s no CvS2, I doubt any of us will come out. If there is, then I’ll be out there, at least. Maybe some other fools.

Yeah itsd sad, Enchanted Castle used to have lots of fighting games and lots of comp. But IIRC they don’t even have a single fighting game.
Actually I’ve been going to Gameworkz for there Mvc2 Cab.
They actually fixed it up recently with happ parts so it all works out a well.
Though minor comp there are some peeps who know what there doing.:wgrin:
If I can get boards, I am going to try my best to make CVS2 arcade only again, so just fair warning now, I’m going to seriously look into it, but just as a heads up for console fans, my arcade board is on location right now, and it is a royal pain to uninstall it, so that is going to help your cause with me not bringing it.
