Let’s face it, if he hadn’t gone for that risk he would have lost the round anyway. If it misses, whatever I would have lost the round anyway so I might as well try. Virtually zero risk, it might have been riskier for him to not go for it because that would be a near certain loss of he round. Worst punishment if it whiffs is s.HP. Sure that would kill him but only because of his own play in that round. And his reward? 50% damage almost.:lame:

certain characters already do 35% damage on certain combos so to put a ultra to do only do 35% is stupid.
so whats the difference between the regular edition of Arcadia Magazine and the “Ebten edition”? does the regular edition also have the dvd or what…idk whichh one to order
They got the announcers and all that too, but footage of the players only shows up during semis and finals… the best bouts don’t have any player footage or photos
If you are just looking for match videos…well…they’re there. No problem.
But I thought that the production values for SBO were really, really good. The special intro they made, the player interviews, even the commentary between rounds. I really wanted all that stuff to be on the DVD, and they cut all of it out for the most part.
When Nemo loses to Gosho he stands up and you can just see the disappointment all over him. When Gosho sits down for his finals match you could see he was a ball of nerves and was probably going to lose. Before the final match between Kyabetsu and Shiro, before Shiro confirms his card he just takes a moment to try and calm himself and prepare for the fight, while the character select music pounds in the background. These little things were awesome, and I would have loved to see them on the DVD…but they just weren’t.
Given the price, I can’t really complain…but I was a litle disappointed.
You really did just have to be there. I am SO GLAD I went this year.
