Hi,
i know watch a savejump means but did not know exatly how to perform it could someone explain it if its need to jump early or later when is the point for the jump and doese the fightingmove wich is performed while jumping matter( as zagief player i use normaly knees)
all your setups are jump dependent.
but characters have unique get up times and unique air borne times to make things really confusing.

has some good info.
i usually look for the bounce of the knockdown, and time my jump just slightly afterwards, but i cross up, so my “safe” jumps are usually pretty safe anyway.
really though, the characters you’re going to safe jump against the most are the practical ones.
bison, boxer, honda, sim (sorta, sim doesn’t have much for a reversal) etc. who are all easier to perform saje jumps on, cause their reversals come out much slower/less invincible.
wtf? yes… there’s internet across the ocean too. that also means you don’t have to play only with americans.
what was this about really?
probably that it’s commendable that he plays despite the international lag, or has some sort of uberconnection that neagtes it.
asking for help on SRK = playing americans online?
I played Reaper last night. Pretty good gief’…no noticable lag.

Start at 5:45 for the safe-jump section.
This is from David Sirlin’s ST tutorial video. Sirlin is the lead designer for ST:HDR.
This explains safe-jump mechanics and gives a clear visual.
maybe he plays… europeans???
