LoL, unfortunetly, u cannont get the same deal i got. My older brother sold so many that these ppl owe him favors. If u wish to get this job, u can apply, but ur cut wont be 1000$. It will be 50% of everything above 1500, or whatever. So the max u can get is 500. Once u sell a certain amount, it raises to 75%. However, the details are very… well, detailed, so ill tell u all about it on my next casual. And poeta, thats what opening an office means, u get ppl to sell for u, and u get a cut. therefore, u do shit, and get lots of cash. only prob is, he opened it in an area EVERYONE had shit credit, and he didnt do well.
Also, this job involves them calling ur cell, or going to their office, and they go, ok, go here (here being somewhere in mississauga). therefore, u need a car, my car is my moms car, my mom dosent let me drive, no job, that is how they control wether or not i get this job. First time ive ever told my mom “Stay the fuck out of my life” in anger…
No kidding you get people to sell for you. But im saying why would they make your brother a sub destributor when hes such a good salesman (according to you… since he somehow got you double the income of everyone else that would want to apply for a job there.) That would mean he doesnt sell ANYTHING. He just hires people to sell it for him. Once again like i said making more middle men and having to raise the price of the product. In which case, if the company already has people out selling the product for anything over 1500, and your brother would have to sell the exact same product for even more of a base value for him to make money, then why would people even buy that product from your brothers employees?
Not to mention if you brother was such a good salesman and even sold 2 vacuums per week thats 96 000 a year for only selling 2 per week. I’m assuming by what ur saying about how good of a salesman he was that he use to sell at least 2 per week because 1 doesnt seem that far fetched. Not to mention you said he wanted to lease a BMW, which wouldnt really be very realistic on a 4000 dollar taxed per month income.
The point im getting at is, if he opened an office and hired employees to sell this product, hed have to raise the $1500 to probably $1700 in order to make money. Meaning, he would only make 200 per sale. Now thats not bad if you get 50 people working for you selling vacuums and you get 200 bucks a cut. The problem comes in at the final price. If these customers can get teh product for say 2500 (earning every other employee directly linked to the business $1000) then that means that already, your brothers employees make quite a bit less. Why wouldnt they just get a job from the main company? Why on earth would your brother want to be a second middle man, if (personal opinion) people wouldnt work for him. Based on the fact that they can make much more money working for the main company.
I dunno you really didnt answer any of my questions about the whole office thing. You said your brother wanted to do it to hire people to sell for him and i said in my original post that, thats what i figured. Yet I was confused about all the reasoning behind it, which I still am lol.
I’m assuming that it’s:
Main office —> Regional Branches —> Localized centre —> Salesmen.
My guess is that his brother just went up the ladder… from salesmen to head of localized centre.
But then again, that doesn’t make sense, i’m guessing you’d need a wide base for every region, since it would be hard to find buyers for a $2000 vacuum.
No kidding. Not to mention if he DID move up the ladder I’d expect the company to provide an office for him to work in. You dont move up the ladder and risk your own money opening an office. If he was to move up the ladder and have a little branch of his own with his own salesmen im sure it would work 1 of 2 ways. They would most likely provide the office (its unheard of to have someone move up in a business and then start their own branch without the company doing anything. Unless he started his own business and was simply a distributer). Then provide him with salesmen in the area. Im sure he wouldnt have to find them on his own. Then give him a cut of the profit from each item sold. The only other way they could do it is offer him a salary with a smaller cut from the vacuums sold. Either way, unless he was starting his own business I dont see how the other ways could have made him lose money and get out of selling vacuums all together.

Which brings me back to my point of why would the main company want more middle men. My dad is the distributer of many products… and he handles all of canada on them all. Hes already a middle man from products that come from the states which are all of them actually. My dad either gives people comission per sale, or gives them a base price for the product if they buy it in advance (which allows them to make more money IF they sell it all). Now it wouldnt make much sense to get say another middle man for each province to distribute it. Thats just splitting the money between 1 more source. If my dad took his top salesmen and turned them into distributors for other salesmen thats just dumb on his part because like I said hed make less money. My dad did have 1 person in quebec that did buy mass product from him and have salesmen to sell it (lets call him bob). He didnt offer bob any better price than every other person he sells to that is reselling it. Bob obviously sold the products to customers for the same price all of my dads salesmen sell it for, or they simply wouldnt be able to sell it. What happend was, Bobs employees got in touch with my dad, and completely cut bob out. Bobs company went out of business because the salesmen went right to the best source they could to maximize the money they make.
This is why I thought it was a stupid idea if your brother wanted to start his own business selling a product that was already being distributed by a developed business in the area that he would be reselling in.
Thats why i didnt think he started his own business… I already explained why i figured it also didnt make sense for him to be bumped up the ladder inside the company and for them to just let him go down the drain when he put everything at risk.

lol i was insanely sick of wow and was ultra bored so i wanted to type out random shit to keep me entertained. To be honest i really dont care at all lol what he planned on doing its just a conversation lol.
ps today in wow the server went down and me and cq and like 10 guys from TEW went to some random server…a nd tried to raid stormwind with lvl 1 alts. It was the most fun I have ever had playing wow. We joined some random guild… and caused sooooo much shit. The guild leader kept telling us to shut up and shit then we made macros to spam him and the guild it was so funny. Then he just got pissed and went offline…
Then everyone kept doing the macros to piss off this 1 officers in The guild. So im like… Guys shut up!. Yo “officers name here” Your an officer of this guild… kick these retards that are spamming it… all you gotta do is type /gquit “persons name” So 5 seconds later it showed him and leaving the guild… it was so funny. We destroyed that brand new guild totally it was the funniest thing ever.
