James honestly man I doubt I can go. I dont have much money at all and im so much in debt it would be kinda stupid. Not to mention i just got cut off from working today which was another chunk of money I would need. I still might go… but im not 100% sure yet. Not to mention if im the only one driving only 2 other people besides me can come which is retarded. We need another driver for sure. I drove up to huntsville a few weeks ago and with 3 people in my car it was pretty packed. I dont think we can fit 4 people plus 4 bags of clothes and what not since my car is pretty small. I dont see how this is gonna work unless someone else is also driving to take the rest of the people. Also if I come up, I’m tight on money and i cant buy anything probably not even booz. Might just come up for the chilling part of it which is a good chance I guess. Honestly though, my vote would be to go to lessards if his parents arent home. We can do all the same shit and we dont gotta drive 3 hours. Lessards place owns. We should try to just all have a fun planned night there with some random cool shit going on and crash there so we can all get wasted and I dont have to drive people home. Just a suggestion…
see, this is why we plan weeks in advance, but letting us know only a few days before we go that you arent 100% aint good. we realize that 2 cars is essential, and if you dont have enough money talk to someone else going, maybe something can be done. seriously, if we dont go, my parents are gonna be pissed. i told them to cancel their plans on the long weekend so my friends could go up ONCE in the year and since i never go up they were ok with it. seriously, lessards house is nice, but its not a weekend at the cottage.

OK!!! as james said i have my van, thats 6 people that can ride with me, plus storage space. As long as ppl have gas money, then im kool with driving there. ppl, all u need to bring is 20 for food, and gas money, anything more is optional, but advised. Im getting alcohol and shrooms. if u dont have enuf, see if ppl can lend u money, thats what im doing. This is a one in a lifetime thing, a fucking COTTAGE with no parents, were we can play games, and can go into the wilderness on zooms, walk around with 40’s and dont give a shit, go to bed drunk, and wake up with a beer for breakfast! We even have a boat as i understand, so wtf ppl are talkin about not bothering?

Fuck canadian. Go buck a beer (laker, Bohemian, Lucky) to save money (i mean realy, after 8 or so beers, your too drunk to care what your drinking). Or go super cheap and grab some Mihause Creek. Its only 21.50 for a 24 of cans (this also means you can take 1 beer outa the six pack rings, and sling the rest onto your belt, which is good for forest traveling).

Alright, Lessard got his van so I guess everything is a go. I’m in I guess. Alright since lessard has his van, I got room for me + 3 people if i can throw some shit in lessards van. Bry you can have shotgun and I guess i need 2 smaller people in the back since there will still be a lot of shit in my car. So I’m gonna reserve those spots for cq and james. You said the ride was about 3 and a half hours? Thats about an hour past muskoka im guessing since it takes about 2 and a half to get there. So yea its probably gonna be 2 tanks of gas going there and the small driving around and going back. So I’m not sure what you guys are diong for gas in lessards car but its probably gonna be a bit more. Mine will be about 20 bucks each person assuming 4 people are comming in my car. As each tank of gas is about 40 bucks… and up in muskoka and all that since its a less populated area and less gas stations around, I’ve noticed the price of gas is way up every time I go up there. So yea expect around 20 bucks a person in gas. I got 18 bottles of beer already at my house so that should do for about 2 nights. Which reminds me, CQ and I have to be back sunday night since we have work monday morning. So yea that helps my money situation a bit since I dont have to buy booz. I do want a bit of weed though, and no shrooms. I dont want much though. I just wanna pitch some money on what u guys buy if thats cool with you.
Anyways… me and cq work all week so I guess we can head up there anytime after 3:00 on friday afternoon. Unless for some reason we’re not working. So yea I’m thinking we could be up there by 7 on the outside and then get drunk and play games and shit. So yea, james let me know if your comming in my car or lessards. Try to come in my car though cuz ur small and u and cq can fit in the back with some other random shit.

edit: my dad map quested it for me and got 2 maps, ill give em to you (lessard) to photo copy. it makes sense for me to go in poeta’s car since he needs small people in the back. most of the luggage will go in the van though im sure. things people need to bring:

EDIT: I was just reading over my post and I noticed I sound so fuckin cheap about the gas its not funny. But honestly, I am soo much in debt that I cant afford to spend like over 50 bucks (and thats really pushing it) on this trip. I was expecting to spend like 10 on some weed if i wanted some and u let me pitch, 20 on food and 20 on gas. I already have beer so I dont have to spend any on that shit. But honestly if i gotta spend like 30 bucks on gas and most likely spend more like 30 on food, Im gonna be completely broke for when I get back. Without a solid job, thats not a good thing. I’ll still come and stuff regardless cuz I dont wanna screw the people out of rides that I said i would drive. But to be honest, if I’m driving people up there, that includes going back. Its not really fair that me and cq are gonna have to spend an assload of money on gas if the other 2 who are comming in my car dont wanna reach back with me. Although its not really fair for me to say you gotta come back with me either. So heres the deal. Whoever is comming in my car and wants to stay that extra day once me and cq leave on sunday night thats your choice. However, I want half of what you would normally pay me if you were taking the ride back. Meaning I want 5 bucks if your not comming back with me. Considering your gas price will be split by u guys jumping in with matt in his van, your probably all only gonna spend 5 bucks going back anyways since there are more people. Making the people who are staying that would normally get a ride back from me, pay the same ammount they would normally pay. Otherwise 2 people end up paying less and it just adds on to me and cq simply because we have to work on monday, which really isnt fair. Considering a big part of me going is because I already commited to this. Not that I dont wanna go… i just hope u guys understand im broke and over 5 grand in debt from not having a job for so long. My dads already gonna eat my face when I tell him im going up to james’ cottage for the weekend. Hope this is ok with you guys and I hope you understand. After all, your still spending the same amount of money as u would either way. It works out fine in my eyes. That way me and cq still spend a bit more in gas, but not too much more that its a big deal at all.

How is that possible? You think in a van its gonna take you less than half a tank each way? Theres no way in hell. That means its gonna cost you like 18 bucks to go up there? Thats so wrong theres no way. This place is probably around 350-400k away. My car does about 400k on a full tank of gas driving in the city. On the highway a bit more. I figure with picking everyone up, randomly driving around the town were going to for random shit (which will probably happen a few times considering we should hit up block buster or something for movies for when were tired and shit… maybe just randomly check out the town and chill or whatever) I figure it will probably be a full tank or very close to a full tank of gas each way. My car takes 40 bucks to completely fill it up. Meaning 20 bucks each if it takes around 2 tanks. It might work out to be more like 18 bucks each or something but who the hell cares about 2 bucks.
I can tell you right now, that with everyone in your car, all the luggage and the fact that there is no way in hell your van is more fuel efficient than my golf, that you will probably also use up about 2 tanks of gas as well. through the whole trip. If your van can go like 800k on 1 tank of gas like your implying, than you have the best van in the world and I’d like to buy it off you, but thats not the case. Your driving 4 people as well? Id say at best, you will burn a tank and a half to 2 tanks of gas. Which is about 75-100 bucks. Unless your not driving people home after and never taking your car out to do random shit while we’re there. But you should probably figure out more accurately if you dont wanna get screwed out of gas money, because right now, people in your car are gonna bring like 10 bucks for your gas the whole trip, which I know wont cut it…

Also when we drove to montreal, that was about 500k each way. That for me was over 2 tanks of gas considering we did drive around a bit. But I realized after thinking about my montreal trip with bry and cq and james that my car can go about 500k on the highway on a full tank of gas. I agree with shu, sorta. I don’t really think we should be playing marvel and cvs2 and shit like that cuz we always play it. I wouldnt mind a weekend free of that shit and just chilling doing other stuff. The part I dont agree with is volleyball cuz i hate it… lol. I think we should bring a football and have a 4v4 game or somethin too if u guys are down with that. Either way, I still think we should do anything else than sit around and rotate playing marvel. Even a game of poker would be fun one night too.

Like a sit down place like montanas or kelseys or something of that kind thats up there. Anyone think thats a good idea? Restaurants are always good fun. I think if we all bring 20 - 25 bucks for food and a few of us go to the store the day we get there and buy a ton of shit, we could probably get enough food to last the weekend for under 100 bucks and actually have a lot. Pasta, cereal, omg bry bring your fucking pizza pocket maker! OMG! DO IT PLZ!! All that takes is bread and whatever you wanna put in pizza and its so damn good. Very cheap to make no doubt.
