Actually Jerris is completely in the right. If you’ve made arrangements with someone and the onus is on them to contact you, you shouldn’t have to go chasing them to further cement your plans. Gerjay could have picked up the phone just as you suggest Jerris did and simply say he didn’t think things were going to pan out. That way Gerjay has done what he said and Jerris is free to make new plans without leaving the possibility of punking Gerjay, who he thinks is going to call.

maybe he was saying that matt’s post was 300…since his reply is on a different page than the orginal post. Since when does Justin starts his posts like TFGM and start with something before he posts…like “~Born to Play~”?
it’s gerjay’s courtesy to give jerris extra calls to update him, though if jerris was that concerned, he could’ve called gerjay back instead of whining on srk.

Ya…I remember the episodes, and I know Cable was pretty good. I’m not trying to say he’s shit. I’m just trying to say that Bishop was a better character to me. Due to the fact Cables AHVB is energy and Bishop could absorb that energy, i bet you guys he could have sent some sort of a double AHVB right back at him :tup: . Seeing how I don’t remember my ultimate reason for saything all this I’ll shut up and find some of the episodes with Cable and Bishop and compare and get back to you guys on this.

sigh OK I hate to be all comic book geek but everyone saying that Bishop would get owned by Cable and blah blah blah are dead wrong. First off, he absorbs all forms of energy, not just energy produced by mutants. Secondly, he’s an insane storage battery. When the X-Men were in the middle of The Legacy Virus story and Magneto had returned, none of them could deal with him. He was jacked up way too much. So they came up with the insane idea of every energy producer smacking Bishop until he basically built up an energy blast so big he smokes out Magneto. Then Professor X puts the mind smack on him and it’s GGPO.
In any case, all of Cable’s weapons are energy based either in explosion or discharge so Bishop would own him up that way. In the end Cable would have to TK him all over the place for the win (assuming Bishop doesn’t absorb forced kinetic energy, I forget how that works).
Weird… I haven’t talked about comics in years and then Bryan starts up about Galactus last weekend and this X-Men topic pops up here.

I’m not sure to which character you’re referring. As I mentioned earlier, Bishop’s power is basically to act as a storage battery and then release it as energy blasts. Cable on the other hand is a psion of the highest order. He has latent telepathic abilities and he’s an extraordinary high end Telekinetic. It’s been proposed that if he wasn’t diverting so much of his powers to containing the technovirus in his body (the metal arm is actually a virus he’s molded with his abilities, thus if you ever see him win in MvC2 and the arm goes out of control you know why) he’d be the most powerful psion on earth.
