anybody know how much salary you need to make for it to be worth it to be in the second tax bracket?

what are u talking about? it alway better to be in the second tax bracket instead of the base bracket. The increase of tax on your income, is on the amount left over after taking away the base bracket max income.

ex) the max income is $7000 for the base bracket. if you make $7001. They give u the same tax as the lower bracket for the first $7000. Then the $1 left over, is tax at the secondary tax bracket rate.
