Shane fei was not the reason the bodied 3 difference provinces, it was all raw skill cause you gotta remember i haven’t had a scene in nearly 2 years. I could do all the stuff i did with fei in his current incarnation even in spite of his massive nerfs and in fact just based off raw talent alone I could fight you, the top guys in BC, top guys in AB and locally with Dan and still put up a good fight. You don’t lose skill and randomly become one of the scrubbiest players around Ric. You lose gimmicks once people figure them out, which is all you ever were. Riding the nuts of a mindless top tier. I guess ignoring the bet is a good way to say you think you’ll lose against Shane. That’s okay, we all think that too. If you ever want to take my bet of $20 in a FT10 against Shane in 3rd Strike, let me know.
Also, Hakan is a unique character who is stronger than most seem to think, but he has very unreliable AA at best. His strength is not AA.
I don’t think people without good AA automatically lose against Rufus, either in SFxT or SF4. You just have to approach the match differently. In SFxT it’s probably less bad than SF4 because you can always tag out if you’re in trouble, and Law is good at that (blocked SSK, etc). There are ways to beat Rufus other than staying on the ground and trying to anti-air dive kicks.
For all the viewers out there let’s note that this was on a terribly laggy connection cause at the time I only had shaw high speed, in fact I barely had a clean connection with anyone in AB. Also while it’s true I have lost to Jamie in all our tournament brackets let’s also note I never fight vega and was extremely unfamiliar against his tactics for the longest time…remember Wong vs gamberbee at evo guys.
Also at AB2 I was up 2 games in our tournament match and was 1 round away from winning but I choked and lost the match…context goes a long way yo.
