So saying that MVC3 is a joke or that nobody cares BB and AC3 is"talking shit about shit I dont know"…like I said its a opinion and a very valid one.
Josh came in asking a question about why he should care about MK9 and I gave some reasons and then went on to compare MK9 to what is currently on the market. Nothing about that was in anyway rude or hostile and if you disagree then state your reasons with my position on MK9 then explain why. Simply going on the attack for no valid reason serves no purpose,especially if your making a claim and not even willing to justify it.
anybody seriously preparing to play mk9 right now is in it for the money because they think they can cash in on the guaranteed pots getting put up

I didnt form a opinion a opinion on BB or AH3 outside saying no one cares about them. As for MVC3 Ive played the game enough to form a opinion over it and I defend my earlier position of MVC3 being a joke.

justin wong, marn, combofiend all think mvc3 is good, a conclusion made on more knowledge than you have about the game (as can be seen from them being better than you)

MK2 and UMK3 to a less extent, and yes I played the demo and it is easily follows under that structure. As MK9 developes more I believe this will progress even more.
In US no one gives a crap about those games, its like KOF…sure its a big fish internationally but crap in NA which is where we are.
When a game rewards spacing,exectution,reading opponents and plays llike a moving chess game you can tell its a great game. Games like SF2 and KOF98 follow this example but a game like MVC3 is simple junk food…its the mcdonalds of fighting games.
I also dont see guys like Daigo or mago playing it, and those guys are far better then the dudes you mentioned. Marn also told me is only playing it to beat wong, and combofiend I would need a source to confirm your claim.
I dont really care if im not good at a bad game, get a real game into the mix like SF2 or 3s then we will talk.
Im the only player in my province to place top 8 at high level tournamets and beat top players and actually talk with said top players, if anyone’s opinions over fighting games is more valid it would be mine then some random forum users.

lol construction job, yes ill be sure to do good at my “construction” job. Anyhow I know a great deal about zoning and spacing due to my level of skill at sf2 and sf4, and because of that I know enough to know that mvc3 doesn’t even begin to approach that level of timing and skill. I would also think talking to top players in person and getting there feedback directly holds a lot more weight then a few sentences from q article. In otherwords I know what I’m talking about because I’m out there actually talking to top players and fightinh them.
So, you’re saying that you know about what you don’t know about by knowing about different and unrelated things.

Alright so by your logic and what your saying, Nobody cares about any games besides games that suck this generation. Also one more thing, why should we trust a word you say about fighting games when you yourself said Guilty Gear was a bad game? Guilty Gear seems like its the game that has everything your so good at but no you “Only play good games”
You should explain why your opinion is valid or holds any significance regarding these games. You’ve never placed in any tournaments or spoken to any top players regarding these topics. Outside lame personal attacks you’ve offered no real reason why we should take anything you have to say about these games seriously.
Josh: you can stick to your easy mode games man, I’m going for the substance. Mk9 and the mk brand has more fame behind it then any of the games you mentioned combined so enjoy those games while everyone else moves on…by the way Wong is also going to play mk9:).

Explains perfectly why there is so much hype behind the game. The game is only a week away anyways so its only a matter of time before we can come to some real conclusions…but I have strong faith that it will turn out good.
From the hands on i had its feels more like mk vs DC then UMK3. only reason I’m disappointed is i was hoping for a throwback to UMK3. It will still be a solid game.

Angry joe is the guy who believes in what YOU hate. Hes all for making it easy and accessible hes COMPLAINED about a game being to deep and having to high of an entry level.
MK9 looks fun but from this video told me and other sources looks to be another ez mode game.

I heard the so called leaked copies are not actually the final retail games, regardless though I actually liked MK vs DC but just thought the engine needed a lot more polish and refinement which seems to be what MK9 is.
Personally something to the flavor of UMK3 would have been awesome but meh, cant win them all. Sort of like how I was hoping SF4 would have been 3s without parries or MVC3 would have been a good game lol.
