Cody: Plz keep this thread clear as Im using it to promote the local tournament. If you have anything to say plz save it to pms. I made my opinion known that I believe Im better then any top AB player and that im willing to prove it via a FT10 set. My connection is on shaw warp and I have a good controller so no excuses, Im also going to put it out there that I believe the only reason I lost to certain AB players in the past was because of external factors that hindered me from performing at optimal levels. If anyone disagrees then prove me wrong in a set. Im even willing to fight multiple sets with people if it will finally convince them Im right, because its in my strong belief that the more sets I play AB players the more dominate my wins will become…thats all Ill say on that so plz dont mention it on this thread anymore.
I apologize man I dont recall much of that trip or even the last year. I’ve just been so busy as of late that even events from a month ago elude me, but thanks again for doing that.

For lack of a better term. Three guys who came with him and hated him. Ironically, they thanked me for going way out of my way to drop off Ric’s bag. They even said “thanks on behalf of Ric”. Moreover, the way he treated them, he was ungrateful to them for driving him to Edmonton too.

Its unfortunate you feel this way but sadly I cant offer a remedy for your opinion on me. Like I mentioned before, I honestly just cant recall a lot of the that trip outside that attending the tournament then leaving the next day. I forget who I drove with but Im certain the reason I couldnt thank you myself was because I wasnt present at the time so i appreciate whoever it was doing it for me. Losing your bag sucks, and to be fair, I should’ve remembered it was in my car. To be honest, I didn’t like you then, but I only did what a normal person would do.
Anyway, everyone’s opinion on you is based on the way that you treat people in both your community, my community and Calgary’s community. If you’re actually really respectful to everyone, we certainly don’t see it.
If you really want to prove that you’re better than everyone in Alberta, the burden is on you to prove it. Not for everyone to come to you and challenge your statement. You’ve been to Alberta on a few occasions and each time at least one Alberta player placed higher than you did. I don’t know if you can prove it now because your attitude has burned quite a few bridges on this side of the provincial border. People here don’t like you and it’s not because they don’t think you’re good at Street Fighter.
Only jamie at MM and to be honest I could have easily won, but regardless I stand by my position and the chanllenge is there for anyone who wants to prove me wrong.
So anyways on to the tournament which shall be called “King Of The Prairies”. The tournament venue is pretty much secured, but Ill let jay speak more on that. The tournament will be competed in doubles and singles with double elimation rules. The fights will be best out of 3 and we will have a 1 hour warm period before the event starts. The event will also be 360 only for both MVC3 and SGF4. Ive also talked to Hi-tech.EB and the cove and they were open to the idea of letting us post some flyers or poster in there store. I really want to make this the biggest tournament Sask has ever seen so we’ll need a little bit of help here. We need someone to help out with the brackets and the flyer art work, also if anyone knows any other place we can advertise that would be much appreciated:)
Chuck: We need those closet gamers you know and your connections at the cove to get us more buzz, oh and hopefully you can bring more of those AB guys with you…oh and before I forget WELCOME TO THE SASK THREAD lol.

Wait, you didn’t place at Canada Cup, did you? You also didn’t win the Edmonton tourney, so that would be 3 occasions where an Alberta player placed higher than you.
Facts are facts, you lost, despite the circumstances. Some online FT10 won’t change anything, it’s how you do in a tourney that matters. So practice up, get better and go back and show them you are better at the next tourney. It’s the only way to earn respect.

lol I have proven it, top 8 at MM and Ive beaten guys far better then the guys im saying im better then. Honestly it isnt like im talking about guys like Rebello or JS here, im talking about guys who get stomped everytime they fight top players outside there province. Not to mention as someone who has beaten guys like ross or air im not at all worried over the possibility of taking the top AB players especially since Ive fought them all before. That isnt being a douche, thats just giving a opinion.

So you said something to the effect that these matches apparently should not count for anything, but they kinda were about as important as a match gets. You got absolutely raped by joz on stream, which was awesome, while the whole building was bitching you out, which was even more awesome. We had complete strangers commenting on how nobody seemed to like you and trying to get people to talk smack about you on the mics. :lol:
I didn’t play SF for a month before that tournament, played the entire weekend without f+mk combos or my oki setups, and finished one spot behind you. I took Marn down to 15% in both rounds of our first match before I got mental guard broken due to my own mistakes and the Marn factor. Am I making excuses? Nope… my bottom form is 90% as good as your top form. I can deal with that.
Ultimately dumbass, if you are making excuses its because you are playing off something that is your fault as if it wasn’t. It was my fault I spent all my time playing MvC3, thereby dumping time into a game I had no chance of competing at while hurting my chances at winning in the one game I did know how to play. It is your fault you had a shitty pad at Canada Cup, and it was your fault you were “rushed.” You’ve been to tournaments before; you know how they go; you should have made better travel plans. What would have happened if you had to play another match? What a weak fuckin excuse.
