Saskatchewan Players The Time Is Now!

Its only one and thats because he has been trolling me for like the last 4 months…and believe me Ive done everything I can to ignore him but he always finds a way. He even adds my xbox live buddies just to trash me to them…I know this because they have all told me lol. As for the money, well the cost and prizes are still in developement but I understand your concerns but be assured it will be looked into.

Ahh, I see where you’re coming from… I did a little bit of digging in the community…is this guy Thoughtbird? LOL, you’re right, he does look unattractive, unhealthly overweight with no social aptitude, ROFL. Anyways, I’ll see you at the upcoming tournament and maybe we can get a few matches in before then since you seem like a cool guy!

And what makes you think you didn’t piss off the Edmonton guys either?

No thats actually me, but granted it wasnt like I said I was anything special but with him we are literally talking about the bottom of the tier list(and it literally is a terrible pic too lol :razzy:)

Jpizzle: Maybe I do, but Im not gonna cry about it and I’d be man enough to admit it and try to do something about it:tup:

Yeah, Ric. We’ve all heard you tell us how great you are. Actually, I’ve even had the luck to be able to be told how much better than everyone else you are personally. Over and over and over. I hear you can definitely beat JWong, so I hope you get to play him. I hear you’d do pretty good against Daigo.
You’re so fucking gimmicky, and not even a good player. Plus you have shit for attitude.

Between you and me, you were my big mistake. Your posts remind me that every day. Everytime you rag on me or Evan for “needing pills” to whatever, I laugh. Because you are a socially retarded, sociopathic, abusive control freak. You need counselling and pills or maybe just a fucking injection.

(this was way too mean.)

LMAO

Well you see, we had this conversation on the way home from Edmonton. Where Ric let Evan know that you guys hated him and didn’t want him back. In the most untactful way, of course. He also assured us how y’all were like all tight and cool and friends and stuff, and how you all like him because he’s a super good player and whatev. So, that’s why we think that.

Who did you hear that from?

The man himself?
He actually admitted he couldn’t /beat/ Daigo. But he’d definitely take some rounds.

Why is that hard to believe? You don’t think Daigo can lose rounds to good players?

Killey an Edmonton player who has posted in this thread took a round from Daigo in that vid.

And I explained that there’s no new people to attract because Saskatoon is small, Street Fighter is old, and people don’t have $55/month to spend on something like this. And don’t you think Hi-Tech woulda been the first place we considered a year ago when we were trying to set up a Street Fighter community? Well, whatever…if you’re set on doing it, go ahead and try…

And chill on some of the stuff you’re saying about Evan…That’s some pretty harsh shit to say to anyone over anything, let alone Street Fighter. Smarten up, if you said that to me I’d probably put you in a coma.

You can disagree all you want buddy. It wont change the fact that NO ONE IS GOING TO PAY THAT PRICE PER HOUR.

In Edmonton, when our ssf4 scene was huge apoc games only charged people $5.00 per person a night. The second they went to $10.00 a person there was 0 people showing up.

Hi-tech in Edmonton charged 5 bucks a person for grand opening and was packed then he went $10.00 a person and that place was a ghost town.

Your hi0tech is actually going a step further and charging $10.00 bucks a fucking hour? Thats restarted, Ask them NO tell them the pricing needs to change or they will be in for a big disappointment

i’d just like to make mention, that saskatoon has some sort of mold in their water, and it makes them act crazy and dramatic.

people from regina are not this way, stoked to go to calgary for the cup!

The price is $10 per Friday night, if I am listening correctly. Still, it is TOO MUCH. $30 for MONTHLY membership is still TOO MUCH. $25 for a tournament to play in ONE game is TOO MUCH. I don’t know how many more times this needs to be stated.

For $30 for that Monthly fee, I could be enjoying some good food with the friend I took out on that budget, probably getting a far better entertainment value. Afterwords, we can head to one of our places and game all night long. Even call up friends–or the rest of the scene–and not worry about it.

Seems very, very childish to me.

also, this look really just sums up the whole topic:

Thanks for the picture! <3

Rick, Airing your laundry on SRK is a dumb move.

You really showed a dark side of yourself getting so personal in public and downright mean, you’re literally picking on a girl with the intent to humiliate her publicly. Also the shot you took at Dustin and his shortening life expentancy, that’s such a terrible thing to say. Takes a real scumbag to make a comment like that. Where is your moral compass?

I tried to ignore your guys whole ordeal but I just want to let you know that the last post confirmed to me that you’re a real piece of shit. Like actually a really shitty human being. I hope misfortunes befall you in life.

btw grats at being good at street fighter, that’s more important than being a standup person apparently.

don’t matter, you said it.

the fact that that shit can come out of you says a lot about you.

yeah that I’m a human being and i can blow up and get angry just like anyone else can

I’m sorry to say this but it is quite funny that you removed/edited the comment. I wish I would have saved it for future viewing. But, I guess whomever saw it truly knows what kind of person you are. If not, they will learn soon enough.

I’m just plain offended.

What did I miss? If I’m going to be a part of this community, I want to know what was said. No more BS.

No. I agree Daigo would lose rounds. The first one, for sure. Cause that’s how he rolls. And then maybe another one or two.
I’ve watched the Killey/Daigo vid. :)))) I actually know about Killey. Also the salty suite vids… Watched most related things when I got back from EVO!!! :DDDDD
It’s more about that attitude. When someone is like “I definitely go 1to1 with Justin Wong… I’m almost as good as Daigo…” etc, it’s just like. /laugh
Iunno.
But we all know the only game I know how to play. Thanks to the post that got deleted. XD

I used to live in Sask as a child and I know that its pretty small. If you guys really want to be a community that can grow you need to first of all GET ALONG. I really do hope you guys fix your problems because it sounds like its fairly divided there.

The reason bigger cities have people coming together to play is because everyone gets along and has a good time together. Of course there is gonna be people that get under everyones skin but those people usually get run off pretty quick. In the end it should be about fun as its a game you guys are playing together on your free time. We have many really good players in Alberta but no one gloats about being better than anyone else, that helps us grow as our players help the other players get better so they have a good time. Seriously wouldn’t you rather be a good person than a good street fighter player? Who even knows if this game will still be played a couple years from now. It doesn’t really matter that much when you think about it. Being a good person means alot more than being a good street fighter player.

Everyone here gets along. We’re all friends, we have fun. Street fighter is played, and social interaction is had. There is no divide between the “scene”, and due to its small size I kinda use that term loosely
Most times, when we gather, everyone has a good time. There has been a few tiffs, but that’s fairly standard in a group of 15-20 people who come together with one common interest! And it’s always short lived. As Chao mentioned sometime previously, sometimes people don’t even /play/ a whole lot, they just come to hang out, watch some games, get in a couple, and chat and have friends with other people with something in common!

We’re a small city, with a small group of people who enjoy playing SSFIV on a casual to semi to competetive level, and we have the sf population cornered, as far as I’m concerned. New people feel welcome at our place (cause theyve told me?) and we have good times. At our gatherings, there is really no drama… because Ric doesn’t come. There is fun, laughing, screaming (Darcius HAHA), eating, drinking, socialising, and that’s about it.

Yay Saskatoon!
