I tried searching for this but did not find any relevant results, so here goes…
I will use the lower dust disc but not installing the shaft cover and the upper dust disc because I find them quite annoying. Is there any danger to not using the shaft cover & upper dust disc on the JLFs? Thanks in advance.
If you only use 1 disc use it on top, it prevents stuff from getting inside your stick: dust, dirt, skin, whatever.
Shaft cover is completely optional. If you only use the lower dust cover make sure it is the one with the smaller hole that fits snug on the bare shaft and not the larger one thats meant to be used with the shaft cover.
wait so the dust covers (washers) don’t come with it, do i have to order it separately? so i can change my order from LL if so…
Mine came with two dust discs but they are both the ones that fit with the shaft cover. So I am using the dust disc from the MadCatz SE instead.
The reason I am using it at the bottom is I find the dust disc quite annoying.
