What are the actuation and bottom-out distances on Sanwa buttons, for instance the OBSF-30?

its prolly less of a big deal since u think it is, since the switches within the buttons actuate far earlier than the entire travel distance of the button.

There’s some info on the engage distance on the bottom of this page:

I’m not sure of the bottom-out distance though.

Edit: Now that I look at it, “very short” doesn’t give you much to go off of, but here’s the chart:

Yes I saw that. Vague, but the article put total travel distance between 2.5-3mm between various buttons (no idea on source or measurements).
