After a lot of recent changes I am feeling good and just moved into a new place in SLO this weekend. It has a huge living room that will be great for hosting sessions at!
I set up my entertainment center last night but I’m still un-boxing stuff and getting completely moved in. I’ll post here once I figure out some dates that will work with my schedule to let anyone interested know.

It sounds like the last event over in Nipomo / Santa Maria had a good turn out of about 10-12 people or so?
I also just picked up Tekken 6, I am horrible at it but having fun slowly learning the mechanics.

So I am finally all moved in, threw a big new years party and cleaned my place up again and ready to throw down the invite to have friends over for some Fighting Games sessions.
I am going to set the date of January 16th at my place in San Luis Obispo. I’m thinking we could start around afternoon and then finish up when ever the crack wears off.
I’ve got a total of 3 - HD LCD Displays now 46", 32" and 22" which can all be used. I’ve updated the OP to reflect current hardware and games and added Jan 16th to the current events section.

I’m glad to see this thread active again. I’m totally down with a gathering in the near future. I can provide a TE stick and an Inpin adapter for PS2 sticks. I might be able to convince a couple of other SLOcal people to show up.
I’m a student at Cal Poly too. I have a PS3 with SFIV, MvC2 (barely ever played it), HDR (same) and a PS3 TE stick…I regret not bringing my 360 TE back from home. Also Nik brought this thread to my attention.
Same! Cool, we’ll definitely need a couple of extra sticks and adapters. I’ve got 2 custom sticks I built, 1 tekken wireles stick, 1 sf aniversary stick and I’m going to borrow one more TE from a friend.
I estimate that we’ll have about 4 or 5 setups.

Versus and I already play each other quite a bit (sup James welcome back to Cali) since we roll with the same gaming crew. I’m hype for this, SLOcal needs more representation.
Trex I shot you an email earlier. Good news I got that day off. I will be able to come down for sure now. I will have to show up around 130 or 2 because I have my daughter till 1 that day. I will post what I can provide ( I can provide them for any causals that happen in the SLO, 5 cities or SM area) If you can update your first post with this list that way anyone that is planning to have causals can see it and will know that it is availible. I am looking foward to this. SF4 has taken a back seat to Call of duty these past few months, so I will start practicing again so I dont get beat to badly.

i’m pretty sure i’ll bring over my 360 setup. i’ll bring a surge protector since i’ll need 4 plugs (vga adapter, monitor, 360, speakers). i also have a ps3 TE stick which i will bring as well.
just out of curiousity, do u have a table to set these up? cuz i might have a spare table that i can put in the back of my truck (i think the table is still in the garage). i’ll look for it later tonight (hopefully its not currently in use)

Hey there, Nik also brought this thread to my attention and I am a calpoly student as well. I have a ps3 sf4 te , a copy og sf4 for ps3 and a 26’’ hdtv that I can bring.
I live in SLO and I’m interested in showing up to play. I have stuff to do all morning and afternoon but if I have time I’d like to show up in the evening assuming you guys are still going at it (4~5PM+). I only play GG and BB so I don’t know if there is any interest in those games but I don’t mind just sitting and watching you guys play other games.
I have a PS2 and PS3 stick. Dunno which to bring but I imagine the PS2 one since everyone has the SF4 sticks already.
i play gg and blazblue, but will only be bringing a 360 w/ blazblue, and i only got 1 stick for it :-/. i’ll most likely be there (probably around 1 pm - ???). just got off work so im going to bed now.
