OK here’s the thing. I haven’t been able to get a hold of a second setup (tv or system) So as of right now My setup will be on a 360. I am working to find some ps2 or ps3 to 360 controller converter for that setup. If any one has 1 or 2 converters we could borrow or I could buy that we be a huge help. It’s not bad on the 360 controller but the dpad is no PS dpad thats for sure.

As far as pad vs stick, there is really not to much advantage for either one. I personally use a pad for MK and it works great for me. If you are more comfortable on a stick though go with that. Whatever is the most comfortable to you is the best option for this game.

Also will there be a cost to have my setup running?

No cost to run your setup, please bring a surge protector and extension cord if you have one just in case.

Also, I forgot to mention that I’ve got a copy of MK9 for PS3 so there is another setup for MK if we need it. :tup:

Oh that would be sweet to have a set-up on ps3 too! If we do have enough people for a tourny, we will want to play it on ps3.
If I don’t come across any converters for my 360 by this weekend, I should have them by the next get together. The PS pad is just better for fighting games.

get an XMC Converter. Cheap and have 0 lag. Bunch of people were using them at a West Coast Warzone

Where to start… First off Great job with the entire setup. The tournaments all ran very smoothly. I watched some of the stream when I got home and the videos looked great too. Thanks for letting do some commentary too. That was my first time in front of a mic and I really did enjoy talking about the game to everyone. I’ll keep the mic closer to me next time too, I heard what the viewers were talking about with not being able to hear me that well.

Thank you for all the love you guys were showing for MK. You guys really made me feel welcomed into your community. A big thanks go to the guys that entered the MK tourny that hadn’t even touched the game before yesterday. Thank you for the support. Allowing MK to be there was HUGE help for our local MK crowd, it’s small right now but It’s heading in the right direction.

James, Great fights man. I think our matches got a few people looking MK’s way. I hope to get together with you soon so we can hit the lab.

for future events, is there any way a set schedule can be made a month in advance? i work at the hospital pm shifts and my work schedules are done monthly…this is assuming the current venue will be around for awhile.

We are not 100% sure this venue is for certain but we would like to have whole months worth of of events planned out a month ahead of time if we can though.
