For all those who are going to ask… this is an arcade only tourney.
So there’s the line up:
SF4 (hopefully super next semester)
CvS2
SF3:3s
MvC2
and… TETRIS GRAND MASTER!

Date: Nov 13th
Time: 2pm Start. (signups 1:00-1:50pm)
Cost $10/game
Prize: 70/20/10
Minimum 8 player or the game will be cancelled.

I’m gonna be working until 1PM and the drive is 90 minutes long. Looks like I can’t be there on time for Super Turbo :sad:
1.What kind of sticks are on the ST machine? 8 way happ controls(old school style) or those stiff p 360’s?
2.Is it real ST or ultra cade emulated rom ST?
3.I dont supose u could start the ST at 3pm instead of 2pm so more people could make it? I my class dont end untill 2pm.
I will be attending! We should just make sf4 console so we can play super sf4. I hope American Champ takes mvc2 and sf4!
Unfortunately, I have a prior commitment and won’t be able to attend, but I can at least guarantee a handful of Versus buffs and Grand Masters will be in attendance. It looks like we have five confirmed from Tetris Concept (although one may be showing up a bit late) and another possible entrant from Hard Drop. There are a handful of maybes from some friends of SJSU TGMers, but no guarantees there.
If your buddy hasn’t played any TGM Versus, you might want to forward [media=youtube]mj7ZO4nFf-c"[/media] his way. Attacks in TGM are based on the position and shape of the piece used to clear lines rather than randomized. I don’t know aggressively everyone else is going to be playing the patterns, but it wouldn’t be wise to keep rallying tetrises in the same column.
I believe theyre on P360’s and it’s a real ST cab, not that ghetto emulated garbage
