Tournament Rules

SFSF is a double elimination tournament. Matches consist of 2 out of 3 the games. Best of 3 rounds, 99 time limit. Finals consist of 3 out of 5 matches. Both players have to mutually agree on which side they’ll play on (1P/2P); if they cannot come to an agreement, a coin toss will determine who gets to pick their side. Blind pick will be enforced by the judge unless both players request standard selection. Programmable controls are banned; button macros (i.e. PPP/KKK) are fine. Pausing the game counts as a forfeit of the round unless opponent chooses to waive this option. Console characters are allowed. Random stage will be used.

Interesting. Will be there.

you fucker. stream team needs to be setting shit up friday night.

Haha. Everybody has a plan until they get hit… by another tournament.

While this tournament does sound very, very interesting, I think those of us in the fighting game community who work a 9 to 5 are going to have issues getting to the venue on a Friday at noon. (That’s like what, 2% of the community?)

Jokes aside, I feel that holding this on a Friday is going to deter some players. I’m speculating, but people who are traveling from out of town for NCR probably won’t take the extra day off, or the extra hour and a half drive (three coming back and forth) not including car rental to make this event.

Why not run it on Saturday the 14th or Sunday the 15th? You won’t hit Thanksgiving weekend doing it the following week, and you don’t run into other tournaments the week you’ve scheduled.

I actually look forward to seeing your setup.

LOL. I know, I will be setting up at NCR.

@peezy: It’s highly recommended that you actually schedule this tournament either the week before on a Saturday/Sunday, or the week after.

You guys work!? :wow:

=) This looks interesting. I love to check it out.

12pm for friday tourney?

yeah…not gonna work for me:lame:

I’ve been getting a lot of concerns about the date/time, esp. considering NCR… I’ll see what I can do!

Nigga, we got work!

in yo fae

i think this is a bad idea because NCR is so close to this event.

yeah like 2 days before NCR i think

Alright guys… after speaking with the venue, I’ve gotten the date changed to Saturday the 14th! So please, if you guys are interested, pre-register so we can have a good idea of the turn out.

Does anyone know how I can change the date on the Title of the post? lol

loll

Sweet. Lovin’ that this is on a Saturday.

GET FRICKIN’ HYPE.
Now we get to see what the North Bay guys are made of

Ask a moderator to change the title of the post.

OOOoooOOOOO!!! maybe I can make it out for this one.

Updated title with new date.

Thanks man, I appreciate it
