Despite the format which i’m not a big fan of, this was indeed an awesome tourney; one of the best I’ve been to in fact. Big thanks go out Eric and Anthony for making sure everything ran smoothly for every game.
All the matches were very intense due to the one game format for winners and losers. Some of my highlights include:
-Winning my ft3 Vega mirror MM against Entity before the tournies started. You’re Vega is alright, Entity. We should both level up our Vega play sometime in the near future, man.
-Neiman’s solid Ryu beating Ryan’s aka “Freelipino Chump” god-like Dhalsim sending him to loser’s bracket right off the bat:wow: I still love ya, Ryan (definitely no homo)! Neiman had a good run, btw.
-Stephanie aka “immastomponchu” freestylin with that Bison on LB:smokin:
-Me flipping off “Freelipino Chump” after I lost to Boy of Joy’s Blanka in losers giving me the shit talk as usual. I’ve been wanting to do that forever and it felt great:party:

-“Freelipino Chump” kicking the SFIV arcade cabinet and looking depressed after losing to Anthony’s Balrog and ruining his hopes of getting second place:cool: I seriously thought you had that Ultra on him, man!
-BEASTRAM…uh… I mean TYRAM plowing through the competition (taking out Young Legend in the process :wow:) and getting a well deserved fifth place. A job well done, sir!:china:
-Last but not least, Long aka “LPN” switching things up with Akuma out of nowhere and nearly beating Ricky Ortiz in both winners and grand finals. That was some mad crazy rushdown, Long. I think you should stick with him and Bison from now. You and Akuma are meant for each other:blush: Conrats on taking second, though. You’ll get em eventually.
GGs to all I played as well as meeting some new people. There are some you I know, but I have trouble with names so forgive me if I forget sometimes. I love the NorCal community more than ever now. Hopefully I can level up my game fast, before NCR next month. I’ll see you all there, hopefully!
Oh, and would it be too much to ask for the the FULL results for SF4, please?
crazy how the tournament ended at 7:20 seeing how it was 49 entrants. great job crackfiend for running sf4. i was in that minor hiccup involving nick, nightwing, and that other blanka player (ggs to you all), but all went well overall. and thanks to everyone who put in 50 cents.

CvS2 Lives! 18 entrants (3rd biggest game AFAIK), too bad Ricky had to choose between SF4 pot or the CvS2 pot, or we would’ve had a great finale.
