WGF was awesome guys! It was my first tournament and I was hyped the entire time, even when I went into loser’s immediately and then lost again ten minutes later! I didn’t care!
I met some cool people and got a few PSN IDs.
If other tournaments are coming up, is there a good chance they’ll be posted here?
I’ve got The Box Arena’s website bookmarked, anyways, but if there are other tournaments, I’d definitely want to go.

My first tourney back in the scene, Didnt do so hot… But shit was quite epic and smoothly ran once it started. Box Arena, ya’ll work wonders. Seriously.
Got to meet alot of new different players and interesting people :wgrin:… and noticed quite a number interesting smelling people. :shake:
Sweet stuff at UCSD, saw some on stream… Wanted to go too. Now how to get to CO and TTF this week…

And as far as Oni and E. Ryu are concerned I believe that we got two new shotos, two rushdowns(Yun, Yang), and (hopefully) two grapplers(Alex, Hugo)

Fun tournament and really well run. Lots of people liked the stream, even Smash forums liked how you guys ran everything smoothly. Good job to everyone but especially Ray, Yeb and Alex for protecting San Diego. Like I told Alex before Finals, it didn’t matter whether I won or lost, just as long as San Diego got the top spots.

I feel Viscant game planned against Marn moreso than he did Dudley. Exploiting the tendencies for Marn to feel himself and go crazy with pressure and rushdown albeit unsafe/safe. If that is wrong, oh well great play anyway.
That tournament was the most fun and well run tournament I have ever been to, granted that’s not many. Good job to Box crew. I actually watched some of the recorded stream. Quick turnaround, no button checks streamed, panorama views? Who does that? BOX!
