Yea man even though I still lose it did feel better to have a fixed joystick, I think they get outta wack so easy is because of all the damn wiggling, and mashing, I wouldn’t expect those buttons to last as long as they do.

It’s more the joysticks than the buttons. And I think the real culprit is Gary really just not knowing what he’s doing. I mean there’s really no excuse for the sticks giving out weekly. Especially since that has to be one of the higher grossing games in the arcade. Just break down and get new joysticks already instead of recycling the old shit.
Ahh, I see now, joysticks aren’t even that much, he should even get a discount since it’s a gameroom, they wouldn’t give out if they weren’t old, and weren’t beaten to death almost everyday… but we should really get some new ones like you said, the profit in an hour alone on MVC2 should be enought o cover two.
Went by the gameroom yesterday (friday) afternoon to play some marvel.
1st player side, joystick unresponsive :sad:
2nd player side, joystick unresponsive at times :sad:
2nd’s buttons were great but without decent controls you can’t really do anything…
That’s kinda sad seeing as how they didn’t get fixed until… tonight right? 
Yess!! they should be good to go tomorrow all day! If not then I suggest teaching the ppl that work there how to fix them.
Gary (store manager) knows how to fix them. Problem is he’s always using recycled parts from like 4 -5 years ago.
Rudy how bout a tourney, and something like a dollar from every participant goes into getting some “new” sticks? :xeye:

Anyhow, the 1st player side the down right stick motion locks sometimes. On the 2nd player side the down right doesn’t happen all the time so forget consistent tri jumping or ever getting certain special moves or supers to come out. Not to mention flying with Sent.

yeah cafeinternational is right by my place/utsa1604 campus. It’s pretty nice, 5 bucks an hour per person. Just like gamers edge, just way nicer.
Mine was only good with Tron backing me up, my solo mag was crap. Tony’s was still dangerous as hell even solo. Mine couldn’t really do much by himself unless I had them cornered. Hell Pete’s MST beats out mine now. Hey Tony you really should try Mag/Tron sometime, I bet you could be fierce as hell with them two.
