One thing that needs to be added that ss5 has that ss6 didn’t is suicide. There are times it would be nice to have. In ss6 there were times you would have to littlerley let the other guy kill you so you didn’t give them rage meter for Issen. And in this version it would be nice so I can save my rage gauge.
I can’t place ss3 tbh. It’s not technical at all honestly lol. I just can’t place it.
Also ss6 has grab glitches with certain characters and I’m pretty sure Mizukis is banned because she could just grab you over and over and you can’t escape it. So even ss6 had to be played with certain rules. An example of this glitch you will see isn’t with iroha. If she’s hits you with downed attack and then does her grab super right after, you wake up into her grab super and you cannot escape it.
I was a ss5 main. Then when I played ss6 it became my favorite. Ss4 has a die hard fan base cause its fast and very technical. Dodge in ss4 is super super fast. I think all around ss4 is most technical as far as matchups and input difficulty. Ss6 is just very technical because it has a lot of content. But it’s easier to play than ss4 for sure.
OMG this would save me so much time having to play thru on rounds i know I’m fucked. Course I also think there’s something to be said for playing thru and potentially winning but in 7, sometimes i just drop my weapon and let them cut me because I know I’m screwed myself somehow. Suicides would be great.
RE ss6, its a game I like but the damage is a little too low which makes or weird somehow. It’s a game I wish people played more because it’s one I’d like to see fleshed out and explored as I don’t really think people gave it enough of a chance and I think some of the things they did with some characters (like Mizuki for instance) made them a lot more viable. Who do you main in it and what groove do you normally use? I’ve heard the VI and IV grooves are the most viable and they’re the ones I usually see people using when I watch videos of it.
Neinhalt always talks shit about IV and 3, some of which I can understand, but I like 4 a lot. I think it has some of the best vibe and one of the best rosters in the series and while the combo system is unusual, it’s fun somehow. I’ve wanted to learn it but playing Columbians who have over 1000 hours logged in Fightcade is not usually that productive

They added falling wall jump. Or at least kasuki has it. When facing the wall jump- and when you touch the wall tap up forward and attack. You fall at a different angle.

They changed how rank points were calculated and changed the names of the ranks, it wasn’t a balance patch or anything.
