BTW No one tell Pertho that a Ukyo player cosplaying as Ukyo won a SamSho tournament.
Heās the best SamSho 2019 player but Chef Raptor iced him at 5Sp at Toryuken yesterday.
SS7 plays the way Wong likes to play, but heād be good at it regardless cuz heās a great player. That said, I donāt know anything about Cory Bell, never really heard anything about him in regards to SamSho, but Wong straight up outplayed Cory at Ceo so Iād say the apprentice has become the master in that relationship 
I also think itās too early for tierlists but the game feels pretty balanced outside of Wu and Shiki.

From what I can recall, Coreyās part of the group that plays SamSho offline in the WC. Heās definitely got more knowledge and history on the series than Justin which is helping the latter train for specific match ups.
Speaking of tiers, Justinās style, etc. itās interesting seeing new gen āanimĆ©ā (for lack of a better term) players try to break the game down because you can see how modern games have affected how they do so. A lot obviously donāt get the ādonāt press buttonsā mentality the series emphasizes and we get such wild takes on balance just because they see ātech.ā

Huh I didnāt know they had any kind of scene out there at all. Itās like fidning out there are other chapters of Fight Club lol!
As for the game, I almost think this game is more brutal to you for pressing buttons unnecessarily than probably any of the others Iāve played other than maybe 4. Iām used to the rhythm of SamSho games but I feel like Iām only now starting to really get the hang of it despite having it since a few days before launch.

I had kinda known that there was a seen since I know Laban plays (and made top 8 at Evo last year in SS2). Though it really hit during the 5SP team exhibition in NCR, when it was obvious that Corey knew what he was doing.
Anyone playing in the samsho evo event? The brackets are out and if for some reason i win my match, i may have to play ricki ortiz next at least im not playing jwong! Haha. Anyone know who ricki plays in this game?
