Hey, Return of Shiki, you didnt even got a point why I posted all of that so I assume you can go enjoy yourself with all your happy thoughts ^^
MUSOLINI, you can combo into supers in SS games where time freeze isnt present as well, there is no need of “Omg this stuff is a cliche present in all new fighting games, and if SS wont have such a common cliche we wont acknowledge it as fighting”
Honestly, I love the Samurai Shodown series to death, but there’s no way in hell an MMO will be released of it. Shenmue Online has better chances of being released than this.
Oh well there is DoA MMO, and KOF MMO was developed at some time, and then there is Dynasty Warriors MMO. SS MMO is official, but they handed development to some korean company. Personally I think it will be almost same as Dynasty Warriors MMO, and Im mainly interested how they will handle locations. Will we have whole Japan, then part of China, France, and San Francisco in USA ? And then, whats about Makai (demon world)?
basically making SS MMO is like this:
1)Take Dynasty Warriors MMO
2)Swap character parts/clothes into ones from SS characters
3)Swap weapon types/styles to ones present in SS
4)Take locations/mobs/skills and stuff from SS:RPG
5)Make original SS characters either NPC’es or Bosses
I checked developers site, and its full of SS6 character renders sticked in various places, and also short desctiptions of SS games, but overall theres not much info. It seems as if they just started development recently
Not sure if this has been answered elsewhere, but are there any gameplay differences between the standalone PS2 version of SS Tenka and the version included in SS Collection? Are both versions good for tournament play? I know in the SS Collection console-only characters are available from the start but I was wondering if there’s anything different gameplay-wise.
I really dont get your hard on for having super freezing, i could give at least 10 examples where a game has no super freeze but can connect supers in combos
As for tenka, i can see both arguments.
I myself didn’t like it, i didn’t like the recovery system/guessing games, it made the game to slow and pretty boring to watch and play.
Also not being able to choose which way you get forced you to eat alot of shit, shit that you wouldn’t expect from an ss game.
i wonder what the future holds for ss?
Dont mention SEN
SS RPG translation to English by Deuce was done like 3 or 4 month ago, but he finished re-coding timing in dialogues, as far as I know re-coding is about 80-90% finished. Translation isnt released to public yet because of this, its released only to beta-testers.
And Sen looks like a flop so far, BUT there are high chances they will insert more fan favourite characters into home version, since they asked players on location tests, about which characters they would like to get for home version. If they only asked japanese, then let me guess, we will get Rera, Mina, Iroha and Shizumaru
Also I am still waiting to see Rage Techniques of all Sen characters…
They should go ahead with their idea of Tenka Special…and give us Shiki and Asura…make all the levels from 1-5 playable…add back blood…and insert some more things… and it can be a winner…
best SS game is SSII by far, still to this day. its got no super freeze and you can combo in some supers. but wtf that gotta do with superfreezes? name which games? 94 to 95 fighters? thats just being dumb. all the newer fighters have it in them so the combo possibileties are bigger. which in its own right is an improvement for any fighter. so wtf you getting @? if you dont like super freezes go play kof 94 or aof. i dont get your hard on for old school ugly ass games. have fun playing sf1.
this is known by all who have played SS, its known since 94. op, have you ever really played SSII at a high level? you might know something about sp and ss4 maybe, but your SSII shit is lacking.
ST, rb, rbs, kof 96,rb2 s power supers, kizuna encounter, ninja masters, i could go on
you’re going on like if a game dont have a superfreeze it somehow limits the combo possablitys, in fact you even say this which is complete bollocks
Where do i say i dislike superfreezing?
I guess the point i’m getting at is that you’re a bit of a spanner really and you dont have a clue what you’re on about
Superfreezes are just that, superfreezes. They don’t affect the ability to perform combos or any of that. They’re only there for show to tell the opponent he’s about to get fucked. It’s just a common fighting game cliche. SS had minor superpauses in SS4/Special and also had them in the 64 games. In Tenka they’re far longer than usual.
