Really? The lag was on your side then sorry to hear that. My side had no lag. You know I forgot whether you won or not. I lose so much at that game I lost track, but I think I won that particular match.

Seriously? I only had lag during one match on this game online. It’s like playing with someone sitting right beside you, normally.

I didn’t have any problems with lag on my end so far.
Me personally, I really like this game. It’s a refreshing change from all of the KOF games we’ve been bombarded with. Nothing against KOF of course, I still love the series and buy all the KOFs I can whenever I can (probably won’t be able to buy 94’ Rebout and Neowave for a while though, too many games to buy in '06) but it’s nice to switch things up. The bosses are difficult, but you just have to hang in their and learn their patterns, eventually you’ll get it. The online so far is great too.

Good games, man. I was having a lot of trouble. I think it was against Hanzo and Galford. I was Genjuro. I could never get in! It seems like no matter what I tried Genjuro had no options to go against whatever you did. Those were fun matches though. Definitley have to play again.
Also, did you keep leaving the match or was it doing that by itself? It kept saying you left the match. I was using a stick, that’s why I didn’t have a mic either.
Oh. No, I wasn’t purposely leaving anything…I thought you were actually. But you came back after a while and we had a pretty long set.
I use Hanzo’s air shurikens like air stun edge apparently…and fireball snake as CSE lolol

Man… I must say the more I TRY and like this game, the more I hate it. The priority system is way too confused, and makes absolutely no sense. The range moves can be damn near impossible to connect with some characters. And there’s just too much counter-action time in the game. That, and I only see Galford and Hanzo players… I have no idea why this game has more weekly players than KOF 02…
Well, it’s new. And I’m the only Galford I’ve seen so far, there was one or two other guys that used Hanzo. Genjuro seems to be the most popular.
Dude, you just need to stop spamming the supers and hope they hit…that doesn’t work in any game…especially not SNK ones 
I don’t see anything wrong with the priority. The unbalance of it comes from the characters…and those characters definitely ain’t Hanzo and Galford.
The game is bad once you first start playing cause it plays nothing like KOF. The way you throw out moves has to be totally rethought out. If you don’t spend the time on it you will just start to hate it.
Personally all I see are Ogre players for top tier. Genjiro, and Yumeji )w/ her invulnerability inbetween morphing).
I use Galford, but then again I also use 9 other characters. Worst thing I see on the game are the idiots using Ogre for a free win. Then again I treat him like Shin Akuma for SVC. I refuse to play them. When I played SVC the good top players got the hint and switched to other players to kick my butt. This game will be the same.

And I have to say that I’ve only lost a Yumeji fight once. She is so easily beatable…as long as you pick Yoshitora for the fight. I always just move my cursor the the character I plan on using…then wait for them to pick. If they refuse to pick first (even though I’ve let them see who I’m using), then I’ll automatically choose Yoshitora.
The characters I see the most are Ukyo and Genjiro. Also…I get beat by almost any and every Genjiro; no matter how much the guy I’m playing sucks…I’ll lose to Genjiro.
So…any strats for fighting Genjiro.
I would rather have had SNK release a Last Blade compilation… Personally.
But yeah, the game is NOTHING like KOF, which is a little weird. And it seems to be like a whole, turtle frenzy. I dunno, I’m trying to get good as Gaira, but I just wish supers could be hit a little easier… I mean, your opponent gets like a good 1.5 seconds to see it coming.
Why would you want a game like KoF; wouldn’t it just be better to play KoF for that?
To get good in this game…you need to learn everything about everything. It takes alot of time, and almost none of it can’t be learned in practice mode.
Spamming specials just isn’t good in this game. Instead, you have to be patient and use them when/if you are going to get a definite hit. Try building your concentration bar instead; or just use the POW for the extra damage it gives.
Yeah, I’m still learning a lot of the mechanics and such… Seems it can be fun if I start to understand it more.
Sorry Sankuro could have sworn he was called Ogre during the subboss match but ah well.
Genjiro is bad with fighters who have long range slash attacks. I use Haohmaru if I really want to beat him and keep a body length distance from him. If he uses the 3 slashes jump and counterattack. It’s not too wise to block those cause for some reason you can block and they still might hit.
The key to understanding this game to me so far is understanding how the slashes work. Heavy slash is not always the thing to use cause it misses more often then you think. If it’s a clean hit then use it. If you are looking for a quick challenge hit use medium. However depending on the character this may change. This is a very deep game that you have to sit and learn to like. Until you learn it gives you fits (hence why I started this thread)
P.S. Yumeji should not have to be limited to onecharacter to beat her. Reason why people choose her. Though I know about Yashitora and used to use him as well. Now I just play around anyways so unless the person is using B.S. crap I don’t care who they use unless it is Sankuro.
