The past two seasons have actually been pretty good
But does that make up for the previous like… 10? I mean lets be honest, the best seasons of Simpsons were in 1989-2000. Most memorable, best stories, and most quotable. The number of guest stars per season has about doubled since then, felt more like its important who is on the show rather than what the episode is about for a good 10 years there.
Matt said he was tough to work with, and Simon did leave back in 1993 but he still helped form an amazing family and series.
I loved this episode (Remember when Burns has to try and eat Blinky at the dinner he has at the Simpson house? Good times.)

I really doubt anyone but real life comic book guys think that somehow a decrease in quality of future simpsons episodes diminishes the classics. I’d still rather watch newer simpsons over 99% of whats on TV.

Saw on the news that he was probably going to die of cancer about four years ago. At the time, he was going nuts for dog clinics because he’s dog crazy, giving them tons of money. Said he basically had a bottomless pit of money to dig out of because every time Fox airs a Simpson episode, he gets a cut, even though he only worked on the show for a few years.
i didnt realize the simpsons had a co-creator. i remember seeing that image as a kid, but dont think it ever clicked.
