I’m salty I can’t get the game until next Tuesday.
Reflector? 1hit Armor on run, 2 more hits of armor on horns? Impenetrable level 3?
Ms. Fortune is so damn awesome… but good lord… I have to WORK to get in on peacock… my god…
Just did 4 rounds against one online… shit was like r type…
Who are you maining? I use Val+Dubs and I can get in easily with j.QCF HK with Valentine if I get the height correct and somehow s.DP HK with Double gets through all the bull to R.Mika them. If you use either of those two, I’d give it a shot if I were you. Saves my ass in nearly every Peacock match; Parasouls seem to kinda go down easy from my experience since I don’t think a ot of them can pull of the Napalm Pillar thing quite yet.
Edit: Derp, I’m stupid for not reading the end of what you said as a Cerebella main.
Salty with Marie. She’s just a lame final boss. I love the game to death otherwise, I just don’t find her fun to fight. Salt, salt, salt.
Also a little salty seeing all the badass combo vids already and I’m just over here stuck doing corner loops and shit.
I’m also salty now that I’ve not gotten an “Error: Joining Timed out” in all but 2 games so far.
Fuck my internet.
Great game! The only things I dislike are the load times(360) and the exit game option in the training… I keep exiting out of the game instead of back to the menu. Then again, I bet the exit thing is a Microsoft requirement. I wouldn’t mind eventually seeing a full disc version with all the future dlc characters and such.
Complaining about the game on day 1.
Fucking.
Really.
That’s what the thread is for man, relax. Take it with a grain of salt (see what I did there?).
I think I’m a goddamn salt mine right now with Marie on Hard in Story Mode with Valentine. There is NO way to get at her without getting buttfucked by millions of skulls, that dragon thing that teleports out of thin air, and getting grabbed by the ghoulies.
Reverge Labs, you fucking win, I’m gonna blast through every Story Mode on Sleepwalk from now on since I can’t handle this amount of bullshit.
Peacock online is such total horse shit.
Use Parasoul or another Peacock then.
Not really that bad, it’s when they’re teamed up with Parasoul.
I feel like if the only answer to Peasoul is to play Peasoul then there might be a problem with Peasoul. Also Peacock is a bad match up for Parasoul 1v1, Peacock will win the zoning war every time.
I would also like to point out that it is Day 2. Once people figure out how to deal with it Team Keepaway won’t be as dominant (it will still be damned good though, just like the rest of the game).
It is kind of funny how after all that time Mike spent talking about how grapplers usually get S tier arguments at the beginning of a game’s life span and then drops dramatically in the rankings as the game goes on it ended up being the zoners that give beginners the most trouble.
I’m not sure if anyone else responded, but here goes:
In that tutorial the only action you are allowed is a tech throw. This gets rid of the window of opportunity for having your own throw teched, thus cutting the amount of time you have to tech a throw in half. Truthfully in the real game it’s easy. I’ve played 100 games, probably teched roughly 200 throws and got thrown 50 or so times.
Why not go in then? I haven’t had such terrible issue with Parasoul v Peacock as Parasoul. It’s tough to get in, but that’s what she does. Careful dashes and jump ins, throw in some tears and Napalm shots, eventually you’ll do it. I like to use tricky use of the j.MK float, too.
I am interested in this Peacock/Parasoul zoning team, though. What assists and such does that team use?
Peacock(No standard yet I think, I use the car bomb)/Parasoul(Napalm Pillar). NP is practically Captain Corridor and Peacock is practically Cable. Peacock’s one real weak spot is covered by Napalm Pillar, which also works as the GTFO move that Peacock simply doesn’t have without meter.
Valentine: Double Jump + Air Dash over DatSpam (and maybe surprise with a PlusShuriken or a Needle)
I REST MY CASE.

Is Bang! that bad? ;_;
