Chip damage is the greatest thing you don’t even know
The first two forms with parasoul is almost a joke, I can get to the third form with good hp often. But that third form always has something ready to kill me. When I see an opening she pulls out that anoying exploding skeleton then 5 mini skulls hit me followed by the shadow thing. I’m going to try and use her level 3 super on the final form but I don’t think it hits high enough to deal the damage.
Trying to figure out how to counter a keep away Peacock and those jumping Filias. I feel like my attacks don’t go fast enough.
Man I love online Peacocks using Argus Agony like it is AHVB.
Don’t mind me, just teleporting behind you during the pause for a full combo

Filia/Filia/Filia. All day every day. I could kill parasoul most of the time but double would normally finish me off because i didnt have much health left
Ouch. yeah. that’s one of the easier matchups for me. Mid range you can catch her with a super… also, try and predict a fireball and do a air hairball toward parasoul early on…
Against double, your normals will usually win out in neutral position, just play defensively.
something I’m salty about now? this is the first game i’ve ever tried to climb the leaderboards… But even though I’ve won every game today, My ranking keeps getting lower and lower… … I think everybody else above me keeps getting matched up against better opponents… it’s not fair! Dx
Theres also the fact that every moment you’re not playing someone else is. So people are always ranking up while you’re not

then how the heck does anybody make it to the top? … and stay there? I dropped from 70 to 180 and that was on my 2 hour winning streak… then I started losing and there were DRASTIC jumps down. =(

I really hate how there does not seem to be counter footsies in this game, or the GGPO really hates me. People would do strings leaving themselves open, I would press a light attack, and yet I still get blown up.

Died to Parasoul/Double/Peacock keep away. Hornet Bomber is amazingly aggravating. Actually came close to losing my temper, so I stopped and played Fez for a while, and considered what happened and tried to think of a counter strat. Also trying to forget that Quick Match is a Ranked kind of situation, because I care about that kind of thing despite myself.
I won’t give up Parasoul, but I need something that’s better equipped to deal with total keep out. Maybe Peacock?
I don’t know how much it punishes people dropping, but people cheat like crazy to top those leaderboards too.
Killing unprepared keep away teams is Peacock’s second best ability (behind, y’know, keep away). That teleport is more useful for punishing poor attempts at screen filling than anything else.
ha, actually I love facing peacock keep away teams with mine. If they don’t teleport, then parasoul/double wins it easily. (especially with egret dive)
If the peacock teleports then its about even if they know what they’re doing… because parasoul/double can punish a predicted teleport pretty hard.
peacock alone loses it simply because of the advantage of an assist in a keepaway game.
Are we allowed to post other people’s salt in here? Cuz I made a guy ragequit with Peacock/Double and then sent him a message asking if he was in fact my first ragequitter (have to make sure). Got a message back that he was blocking me. Guess that’s a yes?
I managed to reach tier 7 on ranked and now I have no one to play with. I sad now

It would probably be better if you didn’t. There is a similar thread on the SFxTK section and some people found out they were being put on blast there. They made an account and the amount of trolling and derailing of topic was quite large indeed.
