Sales charts for Marvel and DC as on November 2008

DC
Marvel

Thoughts gentlemen?

I am too lazy to read the entirety of both of the articles you linked. Why don’t you offer your analysis first, and maybe (if I’m not too lazy then) I will offer you an analysis of your analysis?

Well this is the first time I see a sales charts for Marvel or DC, but from what I’ve read, these interested me, or rather of interest-

Loeb’s Hulk series has sold an average of 100,000 copies each month
Wolverine and the Power Pack minis both got an increase in sales this past year as on November
Captain Britain is not doing well in the US, though I think it’s doing pretty fine in the UK
Nightwing had an increase in sales over the past year as on November
Non of DC’s series reached 100,000 copies sold for an issue, or so from what I read
DC’s kids comics sell a lot more than Marvel’s
Skaar seems to be doing OK as it is in the 30K-40K range
Fables sales aren’t very high, however it is expected that the TPB sales would make up for it
Jonah Hex, sadly isn’t doing very well :frowning:
UXM and UF4 both are in the 30K-40K mark

There are also too many words for me in those articles, but I enjoyed your analysis of the findings.

I now look forward to reading the previously mentioned analysis of your analysis.

Stats for the year. Marvel owns in comics but DC does better with TPBs.

I don’t know what to believe…by that article Sano posted…it seems marvel’s beating ass but in the op’s post…Marvel seems to be doing worse than DC…

^Umm Marvel’s single issue sales are better than DC’s, but DC’s TPBs sell a lot more than Marvel’s.
