I wonder if that was intentional, because even though it looks interesting it’s probably not the best idea to let Seth escape the corner for free.

Another really effective way you can use this is after a corner mix up that would normally put you in the corner you can use c.lp x3 -> s.lk xx hk tatsu for a safe block string that pushes them away so they are less likely to reversal and then you cross up with hk tatsu to gain your corner positioning back after trying a 50/50
