Just wanted to say it was alot of fun hanging out with you guys despite some bullshit that happened. Hope I get to meet up with you guys again soon.

Sakura-con was really fun, who was that gouken I was watching play at the end btw? He was just playing on a standard pad.
Also me and Gameclucks are trying to take over all of the tournaments at the next event - anything that wasn’t run by us was ran TERRIBLY so hopefully we’ll have more to do next time and will make it a real event 
I had a lot of fun watching those money matches at the end there, good shows all around.

Blech. I was only there for half an hour. I thought it ran until 6 on sunday and I’d get a couple hours to wander around and check stuff out, maybe see some people I knew. But it ended at 4. Glad to hear you guys had a good time though.

you all missed my epic (10 sec) costume on day 3…seriously…you have no idea how many Heisman poses I did…omg…I’m gonna do the same thing at least one day next year…but in a tux…
if I can find the pic of me and jesus I’ll post it up…the sad thing is my sister refused to let me wear it at mass at the cathedral before the con…that would have been…epic…

I wouldn’t consider myself any denomination really…I’d say I’m christian on a certain level…I find a peace and a somewhat ironic humor in religion…I’ve studied the big 7 and have found something in each one on a personal level.
I went to a Catholic high school and HAD to attend mass bi-monthly along with the holy days of obligation…I also appreciate architecture and I thought Easter would’ve been a cool day to check out the Cathedral in Seattle…definitely not the case…I got there 30 mins early and I still had to STAND…the place was ridiculously packed with C&E religious people…the cathedral was very nice though…
I love St James Cathedral. Yea, I consider myself non-practicing. But cool. Didn’t know we had the Catholic High School connection. Actually, I think a lot of us in the scene went to Catholic high school.

i was there for the sf4 tournement, i made it to the semi final… got beat by a guy playing with a stick…after the con, i went and bought myself a stick. lol… but still couldnt adjust to the stick, ive been praciticing for a few days. i find it hard to play shoto characters with a squared gate… any tips?. how do i do 2x qcf?
It takes awhile to adjust playing with a stick. The more you use it, the more you’ll find a natural position to hold the stick and make motions. Just get in there and grind in the training room. It took me 3 weeks to get using a stick down…but I still have a weak side which is the 1st player side. For me, 2x qcf is easier to do from 2nd player side from first. Try to get your motions down for both directions so you don’t have a weak side.
I can’t believe I used to use a pad 
It’s an injustice to fighting games to use a pad. I got so many blisters playing EX plus alpha on a pad back in the day. Tekken too lol
i keep hitting the corners n shoryuken keep coming out, with an xbox controller im a g1… with the stick… i get beat by g3s all day…
Soon you’ll come realize that online play doesn’t even scratch the surface of true competitive street fighter. At gameworks, rank doesn’t matter, if you don’t know how to play your opponent BHM will beast on you. Going to gameworks and sessions is the only way to truly improve on your skill. Did I happen to play you in the tournament? I was the black guy using Bison who got 2nd. It’s dope how Sakuracon tournaments bring out alot of new people to street fighter. Super is going to be so hype!

haha no way, i was playing ken. i got beat by ryu, he was using a stick n his turbo funtion was on!. i kept getting grab by his turbo and couldnt even tech it… i think it was you told me to check out the forum. good stuff
