Saki/Souki glitch

I posted this in the Souki boards a while back, but that place is dead, so I’ll go ahead and put it hear too.

I have experienced this glitch several times on accident, but so far have failed to perform it on command. What happens is when doing Saki’s command grab in the corner I call Souki’s assist just before it hits, and if timed right, Saki hits her grab, then warps to the opposite side of the opponent.

I’m curious if anyone else has experienced this, possibly even with other assists, since I really don’t see how theirs anything special about Souki’s assist in this case, and if anyone has managed to get the timing down for it.

Maybe the assist pushes her to the other side when she hits. The assist is a dash attack.

Ya Trons right its a command grab so that move can hit at any time so depending on when and how souki knock the CPU in the air and when you do the move the game will read it as being certain side. I get the same thing with cash/yatter2 her assist knocks them in the air and I can get a 50/50 on whether cash’s denku punch lands in front or cash goes behind.
