I just saw a trailer for this before going to work today. Man. Namco’s busy with dem obscure anime 2.5d fighters. I can’t say I’m as excited for this as I am for Jojo’s, but that’s almost not fair to say since Jojo’s we know so much about the mechanics and right now, I know nothing about this game other then that I can apparently drop some planets on fools.
everyone that has any memory of the mid to late 90’s in latin america knows about saint seiya.
I can’t say i’m exited for it , seems like the ps2 games which had slow movement , cinematic moves that took way too long , a big roster of uninteresting characters trying to get money from nostalgia … but those things can be said about sf4 as well.
I am not a huge fan of the series (I still can’t believe the original series is not done yet), but I will definitely check this out. I heard that Dimps are making this one, like they did the 2 Saint Seiya fighters on the PS2.
This looks like in the style of the Naruto games, so that’s already a big improvement over the previous game that was a Dynasty Warriors copy.
You have to blame for that whoever it was that decided to change the original dialogues and music of the series. Fuck. them. all. It was so bad they stopped early dubbing the episodes. Such a great series spoiled because they wanted to make it more accessible.
Oh well, people can still watch the subbed anime at sites like gogoanime.com
I watched this when I was a kid. Im not interested in the game though. I just wish the cannon continuation of the manga was published more often.
Oh well, this song is godlike :lovin:
In Japan, Saint Seiya was one of the most popular anime of the 1980s.
Obscure, hahaha…
This guy.
That’s not surprising. The Puritans running this country probably had something to do with it. They probably thought it offended their “Christian” values or some other rubbish.
