Yup we’ve seen it The good news is it should be more useful than Otoko Michi  KRK FADC > Ultra here I come! Chou yoyuu ssu
Sorry for the double post, but kinda need to semi-bump this
Pat, sent you a message but not sure it got through so asking here. What’s the size/how large are your videos when you upload them to yotube? Mine turn into around 500MB for 10mins and youtube takes forever and a day to upload (still uploading the first one now)
Hello, this is from a tournament that was held yesterday at my city, I played this with a friend and since we both were already classified to the next round we decided to do a Dan mirror match for fun. Hope you enjoy it.

So I was like
“yo lemme play this Dan foo and see where it goes”
then I was like
“OK”
And in about 5 or 6 minutes, I was in a G1 Final with Dan.

SO FREE
Wouldn’t call it “free” Kinda funny how he “let” you hit hit him with Focus Attacks, good job
It’s finally done, after 2 days of uploading to Youtube, My Dan vs a poke happy Vega friend.
Not really my best performance, impatience and liberal use of HK Dankuu to close space got the better of me. Tiny bit of lag + brain farts = didn’t take full advantage of certain stuff, liked blocked knees. Any ideas on how to get around the poke spam other than psychicly predicting and countering with KRK?
You’ll notice how he Izuna Drops me a lot, that’s because he knows I like to Focus wall dives and has improved making my life a lot more difficult.
Can see me use EX KRK to avoid his Super, I’m quite pleased with that little strategy
Couple things I need to work on; Flip attack punish (quicker than it looks!) and that quick getup reversals will beat Knees
Part 5 is my favourite match, you’ll see why in round 2
(Sorry for double post, think it deserves it’s own one :P)
That was the joke…
Anyway nice video!
Here’s me going against a random Sakura player, he was pretty good and I wasn’t using the PPP and KKK buttons like normal. People tell me its a sin like mastrubating. Either way, here it . Its real crappy.
Do you play on pad? If so, you should definitely use the 3k and 3p buttons. Otherwise they’re just kinda awkward on an arcade stick.
No I use a stick, I use my pinky to hit them. I’ve gotten so used to it I really feel stupid without it, especially if I’m playing as Sakura, I need that KKK button. Otherwise I get supers for Utlras, and my hand gets confused as to where to go. Cause I’d also use them just for HP and HK as well (since I only play Shotos).
Kinda unlucky that you got hit by the random Ultra, shouldn’t be throwing yours out randomly either. Rush down reckless Sakura, even missed a Focus crumple Hate to say it but LP KRK spam would but a stop to such aggression. Seemed to throw out EX Shou when she got panicky too.
Are PPP/KKK buttons banned in tournies? I got used to playing SF on a Hori EX2 stick, which only has 6 face buttons so pressing 3 buttons for that shit became second nature. If you’re used to using pinky on the side buttons then stick with it I guess.
I did get him a few times with LP KRK what else can yoou see? This is the first match I’ve shown on SRK, I need moar feedback!
You did EX Danku after landing an aerial. Bad idea. It does less damage than HK Danku and you wasted a meter. Get in the habit of [s.MP xx HK Danku] or [s.MP xx LK Danku] after a heavy jump-in. You could use s.HP instead of s.MP, but I think it leaves holes in blockstun when trying to connect after the aerial.
Learn to read your opponent and apply wakeup pressure. If you’re standing that far away from Sakura on wakeup (), the ONLY thing she could hit you with would be wakeup EX Shouoken, and you got hit with it. When you knockdown your opponent you should either:
Don’t just stand there and wait for her to get up. Get in there!
Stuff like after he did an LK Shunpuu on block he’d follow up with an attack or throw, most Sakura will do at first so you need to put the fear of KRK into them to force them to ease off a little. Should have been using Knees on her wake-up from fairly close so they’d hop over EX Shou if they use it on wakeup. You can also cross-up Sakura fairly well, even neutral jumping will avoid EX Shou and a well timed nj.HP (it’s slow as hell so do it early) into Knee combo is good for keeping pressure on.
Durf. Yeah. Cross-ups are good for pressuring. Good setup is a step back after Back Throw.
Bit disappointed my videos were casually ignored, even with the awesome Ultra in the 5th match Still tips against a pokey Vega would be handy if there’s anything I’m unaware of.
Very nice information in these videos, I’m very happy with the last match, great game-play.
I didn’t even notice it was there. Use moar bold next time.
Anyhoo. In the Vega matchup. You gotta be hungry for the knockdown, then work him with LK Danku. You can pressure him anywhere on the screen with it. Once he sees it as a routine flowchart action, then you mix it up with wakeup shenanigans.
Since you’re gunning for the knockdown, cr.MK xx HK Danku instead cr.MK xx Gadouken, or FADCing the Gadouken to get in close. You’ve got a mixup dependant character, take a few risks, or use meter to FADC a close HP.Koryuken. You want Vega on his back (tee hee). Once you get him to the corner, it’s your game.
