Dan’s game does seem to carry a certain amount of risk to it though, more risk involved in rush down than turtling

Not bad though, after your Gadouken FADC should be throwing if they block (until they start teching then mix it up with other stuff) or on hit s.MP xx HK Dankuu if you’re good at it, otherwise just do what I do and finish with a Kouryuken

I was talking before about times to use Dan’s Super as a reversal, and this video illustrates a good situation for that. I got all the hits, yay!

That was epic :tup: Yup Super does make a good reversal in some situations and that taunt > Ultra at the end, how gutsy was that? XD Was he still recovering when the Ultra came out or did you dupe him into trying to throw you or something?

He was still recovering. I know what Ultras I can fit in a taunt before and which ones I can’t. Had I wanted to be really gutsy, I would’ve done an immediate crouching taunt after blocking rather than moving behind him and slapping my butt, but that would have been cutting it a lot closer. 
No, no message. Getting messages is the exception rather than the rule for me.
Gouken is one of the easier characters to pressure once you get close to him, as the video illustrates. The fact that you can use a Koryuken (or Super) to punish his dashing palm on block helps greatly. Be warned, though, the EX Palm pushes him a bit farther back on block, thus preventing a Koryuken/Super from punishing it. That’s why when I blocked it against him I did the EX Danku instead.
