The skill level of the jap players is very high, even people with 2,00 points look good. Hibiki San is losing more games of late, as his points rises. I guess Dan’s limitations are beginning to show at the highest level.

I have decided to start recording my matches online. A diary if you will, inspired from Hibiki San. Sadly, i am crap compared to him, but i still welcome tips and comments. :china:

You’re already way better at doing crossups than I am. 
The only thing I’d caution you on is doing them when you’ve backed someone like Ryu up into the corner. Hitting a crossup combo on them there will force them out of the corner, and thus cause you to have to play the “Catch me if you can” game again. I usually prefer to keep them in the corner with Knee pressure, or (if I’m feeling particularly mean) back-throw them out of the corner only to cross them up and force them right back into it.
As has already been said in the video’s comments, c.HP > Heavy Danku is the punishment staple of choice that you should use when the opportunity presents itself, whether after a Focus Attack crumple or a whiffed punishable move. Against moves that don’t give time to do the slow c.HP (Balrog’s headbutt, Zangief’s green hand), a close s.MP into the Danku is better, which you’re already using for crossups.
That cross up combo, jump medium kick, medium punch, hk danku is awesome, i love it. Love watching hibiki san do that. I wish i could do it every time, but it will come with practice im sure.
I would love to be able to do that crossup, but I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. j.mk -> hands was my bread and butter on Gen, but for some odd reason I can’t seem to land them on Dan.
Its hard man, no two ways about it. Without cross up i can do it 90% of the time. With cross up, on the left side i can do it 75% of the time, on the right side im lucky if i do it 40% of the time.
What i did to master what i consider dans signature combo (apart from super taunt ultra) is to practice against the computer. They can be a sucker for the cross up version.
You need to punish those c.HK/sweep attempts. A close range c.HK can easily be punished by c.MK xx Gadouken or EX Dankuu. At a longer range you can punish with EX Dankuu on reversal.

There are so many things about this game i do not know. I figure by me posting vids, you guys will help. I must post some video’s of match ups i just lose before the game has even started. Mainly against Blanka, vega, sagat etc Lol.
As for the raging demon, not sure, i normally avoid them. I guess i must have pressed a button.
You should be having problems with Blanka and Sagat. Both of them can be a real pain for Dan.
Vega however shouldn’t be too terrible. Admittedly I have played very few so I am far from perfect against them. Remember you can FA all of his flying around the screen attack except for EX versions and the flying grab of course. Use that along with DP if they spam the attacks that fly through the air. I don’t believe he has any real strong anti-air so air attacks are an option. Once he sticks to the ground it is up to who can poke better and who plays smarter. Definitely post videos of the matches.
I wish I could record the matches I lose, because I need help with them a lot more than the championships I win. I hope the recording system is redone in the next installment. I might post one of my championship wins, but frankly the other player was obviously play really bad, so it was less my abilities and more of the lack of theirs.
Great vids gas…don’t be afraid to throw RIGHT out of ANY (including EX) dan kicks that don’t connect…I abuse the hell out of that…besides that, you’re doing great…as soon as I get a decent cam, I’ll try to add some of mine…but it’s hard when I can’t win a G2 semi on a regular…
Ah thanks man, great comments. Nice to hear. I suck, but i can do the basics. I get annoyed though man, i lose to some lame shit. As you will see in the video i am in the process of uploading. Some characters, Grr, i get pissed off. Luckily im a good sport, but i rage inside. Vega, blanka, balrog, honda, sagat, god they piss me off. Half the time they beat me using no more than 3/4 moves. :party:

You need to block those Sumo Slams high, after being sat on so many times you should have worked it out Something about those Sumo Slams, the obvious is you can Kouryuken them if spaced right, if they start it in your face and you block the rising attack you’ll probably get sat on if you try Kouryukening them 
However you can Focus Attack absorb the hit if you’re quick enough. Probably won’t get enough time for FA2 so best to back dash after the hit, I’d expect them to try another special afterwards
I see you listen gas…throwing after dan kicks now works wonders…too bad you’re not on PS3 because I would love to spar…I get nothing but Shotos and I can’t hang with them…last thing you need to get down is super taunting at the end of the match to rub in the Saikyo Greatness…
Yeah, i hate honda’s that just use those two charge moves. Kinda gay how characters can be so effective just with a couple of moves. Or i can be so bad to lose to just a couple of moves Lol.

About the taunting, i do intend to do more of that. If anything just to shut kraiden up Lol. But at the moment I have my poker face on. :badboy:
You missed a prime opportunity for taunting I believe, can’t remember which match it was but you got them dizzied where a throw would finish them off. That’s a taunt ~> throw right there
