Why neglect one of Dan’s best tools?
EX Kouryuken at the end of round one wasn’t necessary, regular would have done the trick. Don’t combo with Kouryuken unless it’s after an FADC combo, j.HK > c.MK xx Gadouken xx FADC > Kouryuken what I tend to do sometimes. I know a s.MP/s.HP xx HK Dankuu does more damage but I tend to botch those up

I know it was a far from perfect victory. I always bottle finals though so for me this is great.
My favourite combo is jumping medium kick cross up, medium punch hk danku. However i cannot do it every time, i just find it hard. I can do it offline easier than online.
I forgot about light kick danku. I must use it more often. I do use it, but in the heat of a final i tend to get desperate and button mash.

OMG Double KO Draw Game, that was epic!
Oh I know what you mean about fumbling under pressure, playing a pretty good Ryu (rarity for me) in final down to the wire, I managed to get a safe jump in and for some retarded reason I decided to combo into Kouryuken (must have been hoping for chip) and gave the game away.
We had friendly chat after that, was one of my best games as Dan and possibly the only time I didn’t mind losing to a Ryu

the game is noticably slower on pc… i would think that gives u more time for the taunting??
If you watch my series (dantics on youtube) i actually taunt too much.
I know, but given my past history with finals, i was focused only on winning.
There was some lag during the game, it is not slower its just how the video conversion came out im afraid.

Have yet to see the dan v dan vid, so will come back to comment on that.
But, as people should know I’m noob. However i can now do the Dan Taunt super into Ultra, and god it rocks. Have yet to pull it off correctly in game, but can do it every time in training. Cannot wait till i can learn to use it effectively in game.

I have seen it before, but it’s pretty rare. The two Ultras have to be inputted within a frame or two of each other, if not on the exact same frame. If both Ultras cause a cutscene on hit, but both hit each other at the same time, neither cutscene occurs and both players just fall down. The trick is for both player’s invincibility frames to be gone when the hits occur.
I’ve had it happen with Dan vs. Rose and Dan vs. Ken as well.

There is a video on Youtube showing what happens when people use Ultras and Supers at the same time. Never seen it happen in a real match though, pretty hilarious.

Although a good comeback, both players there (especially the gouken were pretty bad) How many random supers/Ultras did that gouken throw out, jesus. and he actually missed the throw into ultra.
