you can always taunt after you hp>hk danku them. I doubt it bothers them that you decided to taunt instead of actually capitalizing on your crumble.
the ex koryu juggles I only use if it will end the match, I am sure everyones been there, match in the bag, opponent has a sliver of life left, and your game breaks down and they come back and win. so if they are low on life and that ex koryu will finsih them off I will do it, its not worth the damage if they have alot of health left, save the meter.
for kraiden, on srk punishes I usually use s. hp >hk danku, comes out faster, less chance of failure. on focus crumbles I use cr.hp >danku. With Ken you want to be even quicker, he seems to have lightning recovery on his srk’s. pop that s. hp out just before he hits the ground. Waiting a little too long ive eaten an HP shoryu from ken when attempting to punish his previous srk.
sorry to seem harsh, but in round 2 of that ken match up (despite you winning it) what the hell were you doing? single jabs as punishes? You almost lost the match when you could have easily beat that ken with 75% of your health or more left, you had him shooting out srk’s left and right and punished with single jabs! and when he ultra’d you punished with a juming punch?! WTF mate! You made that round very winnable for him. round 3 was much better, but still, make use of the focus attacks, taunt after you rape him. I hope that ken isnt representative of all the competion on the PC.(you are on pc right?) My Dan would be a God there.
for the rog(who ws equally as bad as the ken) he kept charge punching you on wake up, and worse yet telegraphed it, you could have been reaction koryuing those on wake up.
Still need to work on focusing on the rog, you were releasing too early, not crumpling him.
ba ha ha, I retract my statment good sir if it was intentional, that is rather funny. I thought you were playing seriously with the jabs, I wondered why you went from that to playing normally.
to me I get stuck in this mode of ZANY-ness and it turns out I cant stop. so for me that IS serious play, and usually can enrage a person to the point where they are trying to make you pay dearly and go for the homerun shot (Fierce shoryukens) and thus reprating the same thing over and over again.

Nice job you remind me of me. Round 2 we all have those, where we do everything wrong in a round, no biggie, you came out on top. seriously though I thought I was watching myself, we play very much alike. too bad were on different consoles would love to spar.

In round 3, though, you missed a couple of good punishment opportunities by dash-cancelling your FA early. Against sweep-happy players, the FA is your ticket to free damage.
I’ve got a new replay myself, just waiting for Disgustipated to put it on Youtube for me. It’s a video where I got to goof off a bit more than usual because… well, I’m not entirely sure how the other guy made it to a G1 final. And that means Saikyo Fun Time for Dan!
I should watch my tongue, though. I’m sure there’s times when other players are wondering how someone like me makes it to a G1 final.

Still not dashing after Focus Attacks (Although you did do it once but only taunted afterwards)
When baiting out missed throw attempts you should follow up with HK or EX Dankuu, EX should hit but HK version might not.
That Akuma was horribly predictable. Bouncing around like a bunny should have been Kouryukening him out of the air. And his c.MK spam, too easy to FA or even Kouryuken, he’d do it 3 times in a row sometimes.
Should not be getting caught by his Ultra. Was pretty obvious he’d throw them out randomly whenever he got it. Vertical jump ~> Ultra, works all the time (or has done for me) and safer than trying to counter-Ultra If you don’t have Ultra aim to jump where he’ll stop and use j.MK to catch him so it doesn’t matter if the attack is normal or cross-up.
Air Dankuu use Knee for hitting opponents on the ground and HK version if you suspect they’ll try jumping away. Trying to hit ground opponents with HK version will usually get you in trouble.
You were lucky that Super landed as it wasn’t in time to combo, I suspect he was in the middle of trying to get his Ultra out
Maybe not a lot to learn from this one, since I’m not exactly sure how this opponent made it to a G1 final unless he just has no idea of what to do against Dan. Still, it shows that Knee pressure works very well against Bison on his wakeup, which is probably Dan’s biggest asset in that matchup. Aside from an attempted Ultra (which still whiffs sometimes), Bison has no wakeup move that will beat the Knee, only his teleport/EX Psycho Crusher/EX Scissors Kick and sometimes an EX Devil’s Reverse will let him escape without actually hurting Dan. And most of those waste meter.
