nice vid soto, but it’s missing the cr.mp into st.hp combos. Also you can link cr.mk into st.hp as well but I think you can do cr.mp from a farther range.

Also cr.lp into st.hp is useful cause it combos even if your ambiguous j.mk doesn’t cross up.

Muneo > Yaya. Really I have never seen such amazing sagat play.
Really he just has so many amazing set ups, it’s genius.
Muneo seems to be the new up and coming premiere Gat player. Yaya is still good, but I feel like he hasn’t dominated the scene like he used to. It’s understandable, the guy has been playing since the original SF2 days, and I’m sure getting older + getting more adult responsibilities has dulled his ST prowess a bit.
It must be so tough for New Sagat players, knowing that the old version of Sagat is so much more powerful. And yet they find the courage and determination to stick with New Sagat, even in the face of the toughest ST comp in the world. I admire Muneo and Yaya for that, equally as much as for their skill and talent.
Muneo was just so impressive at x mania 13. He might be the player that was the revelation of this tournament ; not so because he’d be new to the scene (yes, he’s not), but just by the fact he confirmed the huge talent he has as New Sagat.
The funny thing is that Muneo started playing with S. Sagat, reached a high level, and then proceeded to do the same with N. Sagat.
And Yaya’s been playing since WW days right? That means he started with CE Sagat, not n.gat. Also wasn’t Yaya an O.gat player before everyone asked him to switch?
Muneo’s team had taken out D/Ani/Oto’s team a couple of years ago, at SBO. I have the impression everyone there knows who the great players are.
Chill, I’m not saying otherwise. Just stating Muneo did an awesome tourney, and that he deserves as much recognition as Yaya for instance, which I’m not sure he has, for the majority.
Don’t worry about oldschool_BR, he is kind of a dick.
