He was still better in ST. You are right though. Rog and Sim were more monstrous then him. But ST is a game full of monstrosities in general. Sagat was ranked lower in ST, but overall he was just ridiculously good. Better zoning, damage, better walk speed and his sweep was beastly for footsies and his st.short was WAY better.

This game takes no skill. Wiggle the stick when you have two bars and an ultra and you’re good to go.

Sagat is still good, just means you can’t play with out thinking of what your opponent is going to do to your special, well spaced TKs are still good on this game, around +1 or +2 at most, if your getting srk’d your not holding back or if your getting thrown your not tech’ing the throw, stop whining Sagat isnt as good as he was in SF4, I doubt many will disagree to that… But he isnt really nerfed if everyone else but Dhalsim got the same treatment.

Sagat is still the same. You just have to work harder. (I play Cammy and both DPs were nerfed to 100 dmg… but its not BAD)
Like I said in the other thread Sagat’s essence is now gone. He was a strong zoner and has now gone to a weak zoner. I hate playing low damage characters and now Sagat is no longer the character for me. They should have took some of his tools away but kept him as a high damage character. Some of his moves literally now do almost no damage. I am very disappointed.
He wasn’t my main but I did use him in vanilla, he seems slow as hell now.
Jump kicks and random moves own in this game.
As for Sagat, use HK tiger knee for combos.

I was fustrated when they took awesome the safeness of his s lk -> tk. But i figured out new block strings. And also i dont mean to brag, but im going to, im Number 3 in the world rite now on the xbl sagat… number 1 in america!

I didnt care about sagats nerfs until I heard that hes TK is unsafe on block. That is a major nerf.
Its like taking away zangiefs SPD, or Seths arms. Sometimes I wonder wtf capcom are thinking.
Btw MK TK does 10 on block, how mutch did it do on SF4?
