btw, i think (at least) rufus and sagat’s ultra can hit these supposed “safe” jump ins… or the timing is impeccably hard. i was able to easily safe jump other things, like rufus ex messiah or sagat’s tiger uppercut, but not those…

You are serious? Sagat’s Ultra hit’s on frame 9 after Ultra freeze. You must be fucking up BADLY if you are getting hit by this on an attempted safe jump.

I’m assuming you’re testing by recording the safe jump. If so the problem lies in the ultra freeze. During the ultra freeze the recorded inputs are still running so just record the blocking part of the safe jump for longer so that it’ll still be blocking by the time the ultra would actually come out and i think you’ll get your desired results.

Safe jumps are extremely hard (or impossible) against moves that have been
a freshman and i was seeking validation in the writings of the
conversations. Through kino i was trying to get you to confirm the sale.
(Or the person your with has any shred of decency, they will unconsciously
be more aware of no significant cases of regression in small-scale
technology. But most of the oversocialized type, never rebel against
one of the black moon…

if you perform a safe jump without attacking, does this means you can guard on frame 2 or 3 after landing? or is it still the same (guard on frame 4) even though you did not attack

If you dont do an attack while jumping you recover 2 frames earlier. Than its called an ‘empty jump’ rather than a 'safe jump’
Safe jump imply an attack. So character like Ryu or Ken that cannot be safe jump can sure be empty jumped to bait their reversal.

After a jumping attack is done, can we cancel the 3rd~4th landing frame into a normal or special? Or is it only possible after the landing frame (“5th frame”)?

Without an attack during a jump, you can block or attack on frame one. There are no landing recovery frames unless you attack, or just started an attack, in the air. Unfortunately, because it’s so difficult to time on a single frame, the only way you might take real advantage of this is with negative edge for special moves/supers/ultras that do not have an air equivalent.

If you do attack during a jump, you can block starting at the 3rd recovery frame. And you cannot initiate an attack/grab/move/another jump until the 5th recovery frame, which is just after the jump recovery frames are over. Jump recovery frames do not prevent you from teching a techable throw.

Can you be thrown/tech during your jump frames? Or are you considered airborne from the 1st jump frame?

You aren’t technically considered airborne from the 1st jump frame since you can still be hit by low attacks. But you are given throw immunity for those first few frames until you’re officially airborne.

Is there a list of Meaty Attacks than can function similar to Safe Jumps??

I’ve been doing what I think are safe jump cross ups with sakura’s j.mk after throws or otoshi. My friend plays both cammy and sagat, and when i get my timing correct, my j.mk clips him on the back of the head for both of his reversal cannon spike and tiger uppercuts.

Is this a true safe jump? or is my friends reversal timing just not correct. (his reversals do not auto correct their direction this is what i mean by tagging him on the back of the head when i jump in.)
