Safari 3 for Windows

I’m not sure if anyone else heard, but the latest beta build of Apple’s Safari 3 web browser is available on both Windows (XP and Vista) and Mac. I just downloaded it to test out now. It seems like more of the same, and I can’t notice any big differences from previous versions of the browser on OSX, which has both pros and cons. I have heard some people complain about the way the interface looks in Windows, but I personally think it looks slick. My only two real complaints are 1.) Ctrl + Tab and Ctrl + Shift + Tab will not switch between your open tabs like in every other browser. Instead you have to use Ctrl + Shift + [ and Ctrl + Shift + ], which is annoying. 2.) Clicking the scroll wheel will not allow you to scroll by simply moving the mouse.

Other than that, I think it seems fairly decent so far. I’m sure most people aren’t going to be willing to give up Firefox to use it, but it’s always nice to have options.

I posted this already:

that is fairly awesome.
