I hear you about the Bigbox thing (going to derail the thread again but people love me so its ok). Not everyone thinks about the real life issues revolving playing games all day at an arcade. They just see Japan and go “OMG ITS STREET FIGHTER LAND! I’M GOING TO PLAY DAIGO and YUU AND SUPER SAIYAN LEVEL UP!” Especially a foreigner coming to Japan you gotta have the money to step it up and stay on a machine for a while or you’re just making your wallet smaller and smaller just to hopefully level up.
Doing all of this in a country where a lot of things are expensive in the first place and I’m sure people will think twice about spending all day at BigBox just to level up. Arturo is a prime example of someone who would get their money’s worth at BigBox. Spending no more than 10 or 15 US dollars a day and maybe somedays less if he’s really going on win streaks. Random joe shmoe scrub from SRK going to Bigbox would be losing plenty of money everytime they go. Which then hopefully they’d be leaving early enough to make those losses into wins back in the US.

dont wanna start a “OMFG Sagat is overpowered!!” debate here, but… he is a monster. Yes, he has weaknesses, but tournament level sagat players know how to hide it without problems. A little less damage output when comboing into ultra would be enough to balance him.
