Yeah, I didn’t do that good in the tourney due to Reno and Az beasting. Reno OCV’ed a team by himself on his first try. Then we lost to Uryo’s team…so yeah lol. Cantona beat all of is (the guy who I said was owning me last night.) I was going in expecting to lose but I actually had a chance to win, I just flubbed it up. First round he steamrolls me, 2nd round I stop him from advancing and take that. 3rd round he gets a early lead and I edge it down to his 15% life to my 5%…and I have super and ultra. Time is running out, 15 seconds left…hes in the corner…and what do I do? teleport into the corner and eat a SPD (instead of doing ultra.) Like I said last tournament…I hate my execution forever really =/ Oh and I recorded all of the matches so yeah dont worry. Played Uryo once, made him look free in the one game i played him so I was happy. It’s too bad I didn’t get to beat Cantona in tournament cause I really wanted to play Uryo but that’s how it goes.
Vs RF’s team, yeah RF’s team pretty much OCV’ed us. Az had a chance to win 1 round but failed to capitalize and 2nd round he just got smoked. I brought down RF to 20% and i was doing well most of the round, but i mistimed my b. rh and ate j rh into combo into ultra both rounds. Pretty much I was never in control.
I played a lot of casuals with a lot of Kansai beasts. I went 2-2 with Rikuson (top 15 Sagat in the country) he actually came up to me and said good shit so that was really nice. Beat the Grand Master Gouki again that I’ve been owning all weekend for some reason haha. Went 3-1 with CYGNUS and pretty much I held my own against most of the Kansai beasts, didnt get owned, so I’m not super salty or anything. I was just happy to play really good players.
Still, I had a lot of fun playing in the tournament, and playing casuals all day was awesome. Kindevu used nothing but Ryu this tournament BTW, he has a master Ryu already with 60k BP. Oh yeah also, I didn’t lose BP I’m at 34200 BP now or something. So close to being master! Pretty much I won a little bit more than I lost but I was unable to turn it up during my 2 tourney matches. Reno and Az are the heroes of the day they played solid as hell in tournament.

thats pretty much it. every match feels like a uphill battle. 50% of the reason for this though is cause I’m playing nothing but masters and grandmasters.
kansai, sako? didnt play obviously…, which is too bad. havent seen any tournament vids of the guy playing sf4, like ever. only online against that desora fellow who seems pretty damn good but not all that against sako.

Sabin controlled the matches majority of the time and it got old watching the blanka player go for broke with random ultras. He was pretty much stumped on what to do. At that point all I can say is “Sabin good job wrecking that Blanka player”

Nah…they’re different people. There was a list made a long while ago of top Viper players and they were listed close to each other on the list (so obviously different people). Sako apparently doesn’t play at the arcades as much as Uryo but he is considered about as good.

And I’ll agree with you, C.Viper is just fun to watch in general. All the pretty colors and flying around. MY LAWD MAH EYEZ CAN’TS STOPPA WATCHIN’. But seriously, out of every character, C.Viper’s playstyle and clutch moments are the best because you end up imagining the player’s hands and the whacked out crazy execution they just pulled off.
