Sabin SF4 Japan Q/A - match of the day: Barfights II

???

And yeah SAKO is quite godly, but I haven’t heard much about him in the SF4 scene.

Seems like Emillio and Strike live pretty far from Tokyo, maybe thats why they have less vids?

I’m going to take a stab in the dark and say this is not limited to Americans. But hey, the Japanese are the Gods of the Pacific, they must know everything there is to know about human psychology!

The original is a weird statement anyways, I find Americans to be pretty direct.

direct only in language.
but we always tend to make contradicting statements, thats just historically “American”

Sako actually lives in a place very far away from any arcades. But when he does play, he has almost a 95% win rate.

yea to make this out as an American trait is fucking silly to begin with, considering the whole honne/tatemae concept in Japan.

I’m sort of baffled as to why people are taking 2ch seriously.

Seems like Tokyo is the NY of Japan (of course). Nagoya looks like a close second, Maeda Taison/Momochi/Kindevu looks extremely sick.

I guess it’s only top players though, it would be nice to see all the wild cards. Isn’t Y24 from Nagoya? He’s a barbarian with Chun :karate:.

Nuki loves whatever arcade he plays at I guess, he never makes a trip to TRF to let others see . Lazy mofo!!! (but still gdlk)

NO I did not post that !

Real Talk though…Sako is GODlike. A pros pro in every sense of the word.

Godliest execution I’ve ever seen.

Is that the same Sako who plays B.B. Hood in Vampire Savior? He does have inhuman execution, those 2 frame infinite links he does in every match are amazing. If that is him, glad to see he decided to play SF4.

Out of 1,480 matches played, he’s won 1,399 for a 94.53% win ratio.

That’s pretty nuts.

Good fucking lord…

OMFG that 21 hit Akuma combo at the end was too godlike :wow:

So he does have a card or is this xbox/ps3 stats?

you mean he played 1480 matches with only 81 tokens? jesus…

Holy loli.
It’s a very sad what he can’t play in arcades.
D:

whadya mean?

“Out of 1,480 matches played, he’s won 1,399 for a 94.53% win ratio.”

thats his arcade stats. (his viper ranks #33 among vipers in japan, one spot below kyabetsu but kyabetsu ranks AAA+ while sako is a “master”)

It was comment about this -

And i don’t think what 1480 matches is many for JP player.

also, why he isn’t grand master? not enough BP?

So rank isn’t just determined by points? Win ratio matters too?
