Ask Mago and some other good Sagats to show up at Evo next year
Arturo is SERIOUS! OH HES SERIOUS!
What? That shit crosses almost everybody up if desired and done right. (I don’t play alot of sim’s so I don’t know about him). I do it on ryu, sagat, gief, abel on reset alot.
Also did you play Sakonoko’s Gouki? I don’t see much of him video wise but he’s so fun to watch.
hey can i join the guild? im fairly just a beginner though, abel player been playin since december(still has a lot to learn).
Have you played any top chuns, sagats, or rufus’s
more specifically Mago, Nuki, Nemo, and Kindevu
oh and have you seen anything Iyo do at SBO thats different from your style
although its a shame all the dissecting part is only Sim vs (character) its good to know at least
Art you gotta play more characters man lol Good shit in japan though keep it going
As a fellow seth player, this might be random, but have you seen any Jap seth players at all?
if so whats their playstyle like?any different? ty for considering the question in advance. LEVEL UP ART!Seth Army!
Arcades dont have seth.
Yo Art, obviously not in the arcades, but have you seen any Gen players in Japan during an after party or console casuals?
Thanks, glad you’re having a good time there.
Envious.
Hey Sabin, I know you don’t have the time to go about reading and responding to every little question here, and you’ll be choosing the most relevant and interesting questions to answer. I’m wondering what you make of the sisterhood, if you’ve played them. (Nemo and Nuki)
Is there anything you’re feeling from them that makes you feel the character has more potential than she’s credited for over here? Is it that western Chun’s have the wrong approach or lack the consistency?
Or is their success mainly just down to them both being incredible players?
Dictator and Boxer players aren’t prominent in the top ranks out there, are there any issues they have with these characters which you’ve observed?
sabin, if you havent fight iyo yet, you need to do that while you still in japan, i really want to see whos sim is better…
I also want to know this and what did you think of his play style? Do you think Blankas can be a force in the US like some are in Japan and the UK?
Sabin, have you played nemo or nuki? how’d you do versus there chuns… were they very offensive or were they defensive?
-dime
are the arcades 24/7 over there?
also, did you play against daigo?
is any top player baller there?
Sabin, if you can have any kind of rough estimate for us. How many top players actually own a 360, PS3, or both and have SF4 at home to practice on. There seems to be a on going myth that top guys don’t own a console version and get all there play time at the arcades. I’d like to know how true this is.
I mean that just sounds crazy if instead of practicing a new loop or whatever in the training room, they actually did it on the fly in a real match against another person.
Hi Sabin, and thanks a lot for the thread.
I heard some rumors that Fuerte has recently been more popular in Japan, with a lot of new Fuerte players entering the scene, but I need a confirmation, is that true? If so, then can you please name a few of them? Fuerte is my favorite so I would be very happy if he is getting a popularity boost :lovin:
sabin,
why you so free?
(jokes)
i would like to know this as well
Actually the problem is probably the top American players DON’T play each other enough.
SoCal has their own scene that rarely plays Chinatown Fair people. Many of the small scenes in America (NC, Texas, Florida, etc) are self contained - only gaming each other via 360/PS3 or major tournaments. So nothing offline in a regular basis. No one is flying across country to play SF4 offline 2-3 times a week.
In Japan with the concentration of arcades and talent in a small geographic area, play level development is better.
We don’t. Lol. Unless you’re lucky enough to live near the few scenes.
