I guess im the only one who liked mighty morphin, ninja storm. I met tommy last week at a mma event he was fighting in.
Ninja Storm is still one of my favorites of the new/recent era of Power Rangers. That cast had the best chemistry, imo, along with certain things I had never seen in a PR show before…such as a slimmer, faster zord. That made zord battles a bit more interesting for me. I usually prefer the non-zord action scenes. They also featured 3 “extra” rangers for a change. There was the initial 3…and then those 2 guys “Thunder Brothers” showed up(Crimson and Navy Blue if I recall) as villains at first, talking all kinds of shit to the original team beating their ass…ah yes…such an awesome season. Later, the 3rd “extra” ranger was Cam stepping up to become Green Samurai Ranger (after traveling back in time to fight the man that would become their main supervillain Lothar in the present day…this was quite a badass scene and mini story-arc, btw. I actually still have it on dvd.)
Plus, Tori was such a cute little piece of ass. They even brought back the element of romantic tension for this season, which is something Disney’s punk-bitch ass usually chickened out on. Tori obviously had a thing going on with that Navy Blue Thunder Ranger. I remember the theme music was nice too… I have it in my absurdly huge collection of tv themes of course. On the flip side, Operation Overdrive still ranks as THE worst intro theme to a show I’ve ever heard.
*there will come a day, many years down the road…where someone resurrects the Power Rangers franchise after it has been gone for awhile…and it will be the darker, slightly more grown-up version of PR that many fans have daydreamed about… and I guarandamntee you it will be legendary.
…unless it’s in the wrong hands, like Uwe Bol or something…then it would be legendary for an entirely different reason. (e.g.-- The Guile Speech? kind of “legendary”, folks.)
Everybody loved Mighty Morphin. I prefer Ninja Storm, Jungle Fury, Mighty Morphin, and Shinkenger myself.
I think he means darker subject matter (death/pregnancy/etc.) rather than, “Hey, those guys look like us but have red eyes!”
Ahh yes tori, she was one of the only reasons why i watched it. Plus ninja storm had like jitsus n shit.
The only post Ninja Power Ranger saga’s that are worth a shit are DinoThunder and Jungle Fury
+1 for Saga Box Set dvds
well it really wasn’t a Forever Red per se. It was more of a booster up for the red sentai.
As for fav seasons
Time Force: Jen was nice and great leader. If they had a female red ranger she would have been the perfect candidate
Dino Thunder: yea yea Tommy was in it. But honestly the white ranger had a bad-ass attitude. Especially the one scene. "i got no problem with that"
SPD: Well both pink and yellow were nice to look at. But I like the bickering between the red and blue ranger.
nope ive been a huge advocate of dino thunder and ninja storm being the best out of the disney era.
That’s not saying much though.
We don’t have the Nick channel in Canada but please Saban make a DVD release! I love the first couple seasons of Power Rangers and would love to have them on DVD.
This is great news either way.
well i put those two seasons in top 5 seasons of all time. and it is saying much since disney made like 7 shows or more.
Well
I wouldn’t
It’s that time again… time for a post full of a shit load of links.
Best theme song besides EgRXNX361RU]MMPR Movie Version was **Zeo**, then **Lost Galaxy**, then Lightspeed, then **Time Force**, then Ninja Storm, then **Space Patrol Delta**, then **Dino Thunder**, then **Turbo (Movie Version)**. Special mention to the **one theme for Mystic Force** that got rejected for that **pseudo-hip hop garbage theme song[/b, even though it still sounds like crap compared to some of the older ones.
Turbo/In Space had the best broads, imo. The amazon broad from Lost Galaxy was pretty tight, though. Most of the series, the yellow female ranger is on point, ie: Lightspeed, Space/Turbo, Lost Galaxy. Kimberly is always the true OG (original girl), though.
I stopped watching after In Space, but I loosely followed some of the following series (I didn’t watch Wild Force at all, but I closely followed Ninja Storm), then ultimately stopped after watching 3 or so eps of Mystic Force. I’m listening to some of the theme songs that came after Mystic Force… this shit is garbage. What is this Jungle Fury shit? Sounds like some High School Musical trash… RPM? More like WTF.
Yooooooooo… **z4Qd8DhM7VE]WHAT THE FUCK[/b
just because you stopped watching them doesnt mean the later series stopped being good…I havent personally watched them but I heard they where ok…always wanted to smash Ashley(yellow ranger) though recklessly…
Mighty morphin…Gdlk
Alien…Trash
Zeo…Trash
Turbo…Trash
Space…Good
Lost Galaxy…Ok
Lightspeed…never seen
Time Force…never seen
Wild Force…forever red is the saving grace…
Ninja Storm…Ok
Dino Thunder…GDLK
SPD…Good
Mystic Force…Trash
Jungle Fury…ok

Wow Zeo trash? Does not compute. Zeo was GDLK. So much action with the only thing keeping it down somewhat was the anticlimatic finale.
- well it is more of nostalgia for me
- Snore
- Snore
- Snore (Ashley was a cutie)
- Solid
- I looked at the “death of the pink ranger”

- As stated yellow and pink were nice to look at. Shit even kat was.
- Snore!!! huh wha was that?
- Operation Overdrive only viewed the “always a ranger” But the pink ranger was noice
- morphing sunglasses? ROFL
- Nice and that android chick was
Yes it does compute.
Well, you better go see it asap!
You have to see Time Force for the greatness that is the Quantum Ranger. That was one of the most badass “extra” rangers in the history of the show. There was that memorable moment when Eric had the box of “Quantum Power” under one arm while he was kicking everyone’s ass in that factory…then he opened the box and morphed into Quantum Ranger for the first time…haha, such great memories there.
I remember those Alien Rangers were kinda lame though…that stuck out as one of the “notsogood” memories of this franchise.
…I have to chime in on the Turbo hate as well. Same situation here…Turbo killed the show for me. I didn’t even start watching it again until FoxFamily/ABCFamily was running Wild Force later around 2002.
random tidbit— Devil May Cry 4 has 2 former “Ranger Legends”-- The Bosch? was “Nero”, and that dude that was Quantum Ranger Eric voiced “Credo”.
quantum was as borderline badguy as you possibly could be without being a full out villain. fucked evvvverryones shit up and thats before he morphed lol.
million: you know bosch is also vash the stampede right?
