-jdf is gawd damn huge, i dunno if he could really be on it anymore. mma is like his new thing…but he is still bein flown to anime cons for panels.
-saban loves to manipulate the system as much as he can.

Saban will probably localize the newest series: goseinger. What I would love is a Kamen Rider vs Power Ranger special. I think that would be dope.
does saban own kamen rider’s current incarnate?
Not to my knowledge, but Saban has owned Kamen Rider once before. Plus there have been rumors of bringing another Showa Kamen Rider over to the States.
I remember the american PR + american KR crossover, but that was a long, long time ago… in a far away…
Well, you know the deal. Anyways, it’s all about OG to Zeo!
I still like the Japanese Version of Forever RED because they Actually use there dam zords!

Yeah but that was about all it had. All that but no meat or substance to keep it up. In the end was ultimately as throw-away as many of the others.
Power Rangers Dino Force? =/ I dunno, I seriously think the series has always been way to kiddie oriented and its just been milked to death. I haven’t watched the jap/asian versions but I think they should just stop. I mean, its always the same thing. Every episode goes like this:
That’s why I liked Time Force; its followed the format but broke it by having ongoing problems, gave the villains an actual backstory and personality (you know, dimensions) and better characterization. It really fleshed out a lot and there was real world problems thrown into the mix, like the team finding a place to live, earning money, the new red ranger dealing with father’s expectations and business. It was also kinda dark with the monsters DNA focal point thing and Ransik. Probably the second darkest show. I really can’t understand why anyone would place any other series above it.
Nope. Adness has the rights for Ryuki as of now I think. But maybe Saban may be interested as well. Give toku another chance in the states.
RPM was crack to me. It had a lot of story development throughout the whole series and I really liked that. I hope that the series is approached like that in the future.
But hasn’t that been the PR formula since forever. But it’s like they say, it isn’t necessarily the destination but the journey. You know how it’s going down but to see how it does is the cool part.
And I didn’t forget Time Force. But it didn’t go as dark as RPM did. From what I heard it was supposed to get that dark but shit got changed up. We’ll see how it goes.
I hope somebody does something with KR. After Dragon Knight got canceled with three episodes left, I kind of lost hope for KR in the states. The show’s up for an Emmy though, surprisingly.
I just want Shinkenger/Goseiger toys in the states. That would be hotness.
EDIT: Nevermind, you said Showa. Got my eras mixed up. I’d actually let Saban have another crack at Black RX, considering they butchered the ever loving shit out it the first time. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I saw the episode of Decade and went back to watch some old eps on Youtube. The only other one I could see them getting is Black.
So there’s still a chance of my kids watching new episodes of Power rangers and me going into a nostalgic daze?
Saban would be the better candidate for doing a Kamen Rider show.
Adness just plain sucked when it came to Dragon Knight. I literally wanted to love the show but there was so much plot inconsistencies and lack of character development that i didn’t care for the show. It didn’t help that when they did a Q& A with the fans about the show, whenever they got a hard hitting question about the plot, there excuse was they didn’t have enough money.
While I would love for them to redo black, they’ll probably stick to the Showa Riders. Out of the showa riders, I want them to do, it would have to be Agito. I dont trust them enough to handle Blade, let alone Kabuto.
You mean Heisei. Showa = Original to Black RX. Heisei = Kuuga to Double (and beyond). Well, technically, Shin, ZO, and J are Heisei as well, but they kinda get tossed aside in most discussion.
Forgive me, you are correct sir.
How in the hell did Dragon Knight get Emmy nominated?
That’s exactly what I was saying. It is the same basic formula but I say Time Force is more enjoyable because it breaks it up more outside of that with more development, characterizations (not often when the story goes to lengths to explain the villains backstory and even make you understand why he does what he does) and other things that you normally wouldn’t see in a kiddie show like this. Its like its trying to be its own show but using the Power Rangers formula as a base.
“Outstanding Stunt Coordination”
That and Time Shadow was so boss
waaaaat? This should be all the more reason why Saban should acquire Kamen Rider. If Saban could rewrite the story to american audiences perfectly, Kamen rider would nominated annually.
thats an emmy division? sick! stunt men deserve more love…some of my fave martial arts guys turn out to be some of the people who made my fave stunt stuff. alot of guys i found online as a fan turned out to be some of the power rangers stunt guys. amazed me.
