Ryu's design in SFV

Hey guys what’s up? :smiley:

I’m a huge Street Fighter fan, I’ve played all games since Alpha 3 and 9 times out of 10 I gained Ryu.
But in Street Fighter V, I barely play him. I feel like Capcom didn’t go crazy with him you know?
All the other characters have crazy twists to the formula, and yet Ryu feels the same as he did all these years.

I don’t know man I’d just like it if Capcom did something a little bit more spicy to this major character.

But anyways, that’s just me, what do you guys think?

I think they are trying to phase Ryu out as the poster boy of SF. Maybe the next version will bring in more fresh faces and Ryu will take a back seat and maybe even not be in the game (gasp!). We’ll see, but that’s the only thing I can see that they may be doing to the character…
